Via-inn Shin-Osaka station — Hotel in Osaka

Well, what can I say. Let me start with good things. Walking distance from the Osaka Station. Nice building, very clean, free tea, coffee and toiletries. Friendly staff (a bit more smile would be great). Now one thing I am not happy about is the room itself. I’m not sure if it was my mistake while booking but I got a smoking room. Though I was traveling with my 12 years old son, how could booking.com show me this room:-(. Anyways the whole floor was smelling like smoke and our room was the last one on that floor. Even if you open the window, there was hardly any room between the opened window and the wall outside … I mean there was hardly any space outside … I think the smoking rooms should be ensured with a good ventilation, right? The room itself was very small there was hardly any space. Well it was fine for a night. But I wouldn’t like to go there again. I hope the non-smoking rooms are better.

Breakfast: The time was till 10. We went there at 09:15 and there was hardly anything left. What I could try was good though :-). Yes, but the croissant, which I tried, was still frozen from inside. Anyway the staff at the restaurant was friendly:-)

Do your own research before booking. At least for me the price was not...

Hotel accommodation is nice. Location is very close to the shin osaka train station (if you know how to go). There hotel reach though both JR or subway station. For JR passenger, the hotel is close to central exit no10. For subway, sorry I cannot remember. I have lost in the train station when arriving. And it was a bit sad that hotel staff couldn't...

I have nothing but great experience from this place, will definitely choose it again when I come back to this area. Communication is smooth, it is very near to Shin Osaka station.
