A Memorable Dining Experience at Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu - arde! Shin-Osaka**
Our family had an amazing meal at Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsugyu - arde! Shin-Osaka, and we canât stop raving about it! From the moment we asked for a table the service was warm, attentive, and absolutely superbâmaking us feel right at home after a very long day on our feet.
The star of the show was, of course, the delicious gyukatsu (beef cutlet)âcrispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, cooked to absolute perfection. The interactive grilling experience at the table was so much fun, and the variety of dipping sauces and sides elevated every bite.
A special shout-out to the minced meat dish for those who cannot handle medium rare âmy son absolutely loved it! He couldnât get enough of the rich, savory flavor, and it was such a joy seeing him enjoy his meal so much. The kid-friendly options and welcoming atmosphere made this a fantastic spot for a family dinner.
Everything, from the fresh, high-quality ingredients to the thoughtful presentation, exceeded our expectations. We left with full hearts and even fuller stomachs, as well as feet...
Read moreFor a low price of around 2000 yen, we got to enjoy some incredibly tender beef cutlets that were delicious. I really enjoy how they have so many types of dips which allows you to constantly enjoy new flavours throughout the meal. I feel like the wasabi was a bit light but it was still pretty good. All the sauces are flavourful and just complements the tender beef so well. With the crispy exterior as well, everything works so well together. I had the tenderloin cutlet and the aged one and they were both incredibly tasty. The service here is quite friendly and fast. The food was served in under 10 minutes. I do feel like some waiters were more cheery than others but overall, they were all respectful. The restaurant is pretty big with a lot of seats and we were lucky we didn't have to wait in a line but there's usually a lineup so please be aware of the wait time if you need to catch a train. We were also happy to find that they allowed us in the restaurant even though we were carrying two big luggages around with us. It was a bit scary because we had to leave them by the door but everything ended...
Read moreI recently visited Gyukatsu Kyoto Katsu Gyu in Shin-Osaka, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The restaurant specializes in gyukatsu, and it did not disappoint. The beef was incredibly tender with a perfect medium-rare center and a beautifully crispy coating. I loved that you could finish cooking it to your preferred doneness right at your table on the small grill they provideâsuch a fun and interactive dining experience!
The flavor was spot on, with a great balance of richness from the beef and lightness from the crispy batter. The dipping sauces offered a variety of tastes, from tangy to savory, making each bite different and exciting. The side dishes, like the rice, miso soup, and cabbage salad, were fresh and well-prepared, complementing the main dish perfectly.
The staff were attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant. Even though there was a bit of a wait, it was well worth it. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shin-Osakaâdefinitely a must-try for...
