I found another Toyoko Inn in Osaka that is close to trains and subways. I find this important because when you arrive you might be tired and the last thing you want to do is look for your hotel!||||I like the Toyoko Inn chain because ||1. there are many||2. they offer cheap rates||3. they are consistent in service ||4. the rooms have same basic layout no matter what hotel you use. ||5, they offer complimentary breakfast buffet||||With that said, the only thing about Toyoko Inn's are there locations. Sometimes it looks like they are close to train and subway stations. On their website, they have a location map but it can be a little misleading.||||This hotel is one of them depending on how you get there. I took the JR Osaka Loop Line to the Tsuruhashi stop. Getting off the trains I saw an elevator and jumped on it going down. When I got out of the exit, I was completely lost! I went back to the train station and asked the station master for directions and he set me in the right direction. ||||Later going back to the station I realized I should have looked for the North or Central Exit then I would have been ok. I think if the hotel map said that it would have made it easier for me. Once out the central exit, you turn left go down till the big intersection, turn right and the hotel is on the right.||||You can also get there by subway, if you take the senichimae subway to Tsuruhashi stop and take either exit 1 or 2 with 2 being closer.||||Tsuruhashi has a lot of restaurants. In fact there is a great Kaiten (belt) sushi bar across the street from the central exit that even has a menu in english! There is a large expat Korean population in the area and it's fun and interesting to explore this part of town with it's Korean heritage.||||I can't say much more for the hotel, if you are you looking for great prices, a consistent product, and great staff! Toyoko Inn's are alway my first to go to when looking for a...

Read moreMy family had stayed here for there nights about mid May 2014. The hotel room is very clean but the room size is small as other branch of Toyoko Inn. ||||The location is very convenient closed to both Subway station ( Tsuruhashi station - Sennichimae Line ) and JR Osaka Loop Line station ( Tsuruhashi station ) In this subway station there is elevator provided in case you have big luggages. From Kansai Airport you can take Nankai Airport Express and transfer at Namba to Sennichimae subway Line to Tsuruhashi Station. There is rice and ramen shops nearby even in the night time. ||||And there is a Family Mart convenient stores across the road within 3 mins walking.||||There are coin washing and drying machines at ground floor.||||A liitle down side is breakfast has very limited of choices and staff can communicate very little English, but they try to service you and very helpful.||||I strongly recommend this hotel and sure I will stay...
