ESLEAD HOTEL Osaka Tsuruhashi — Hotel in Osaka

For my needs, The Eslead apartment hotel is exceptional! I highly recommend them.

We travelled here directly from KIX from where we took the Nankai Airport Express to a local Osaka metro and got off at Tsuruhashi station. It was approximately a one - two block walk from the station entrance to the hotel.

Hotel is very responsive via email. Please email them any questions. Girl who checked us in was very informative and helpful.

If anyone needs fast and reliable internet, Eslead is a perfect option because the wifi has averaged about 60-80mpbs and the wired LAN/Ethernet is even better at 300+m downland/180+ upload. I know speeds aren't always guaranteed but I'm posting this information for anyone who is searching for internet speed at the hotel.

Kitchen was tidy and clean. I appreciated that the toilet was separate from the laundry room and shower. Shower/Bath combo also has drying function.

There is also a TV in the room were you can plug an ethernet cord too.

Overall, it has been a good stay for our needs. We have even booked for a few extra nights!

I just wish there was supermarket nearby but there is a 7-11, Family Mart and Lawsons 100!

The proximity of the hotel to the train station works against it. The noise from trains passing by made it impossible to get good restful sleep. ||While reviews warned against the “no staff” check in/check out process, we were able to check in without much difficulty. However, being tourists, I have to say that having no staff available to respond to requests or queries was quite frustrating and disappointing. I can’t rate their service because there was no service at all! We wanted to request for extra pillows and followed instructions in the guidebook and sent an email 2x but we didn’t get any response. We just gave up and made do with the 1 small pillow provided. They should at least have a phone hotline which guests can call if they need anything. ||Check out time is rather early at 10am. And when 10am came, you could already hear the housekeeping staff outside the room ready to come in and clean. That was the only time I saw hotel staff in our 3 night stay in the hotel. ||The area is not so nice as well. It’s convenient because it’s close to the train station but not much to do in the area. ||I would not ...
