Aisaki Ryokan — Hotel in Sendai

My partner is 6'4 and couldn't fit through the door ways!! ||Apart from that for what you pay it is good value. We did expect a tatami room but got given a western style room with 2 single beds placed head to head in a very small room. I think because we are westerners they assumed thats what we wanted.||Good enough for sleeping and that's about it. It was also very cold in the whole place but once you got the room's heater cranking you're ok.||The bathrooms are shared with other stayers - female and male separate. You can run a hot bath if you want. ||Only squat toilets available which is fun in the middle of the night if you have to get out of your warm bed and go down the freezing corridor to get there!||I think this place is suited to people travelling on business or alone on a budget. 選挙応援で20日ほどお世話になりました。 朝早く出ますし、夜はお弁当があるので食事は無しでお願いしました。 ただゆっくりしたいのとコロナ禍なので、トイレとお風呂がある和室をお願いしました。 ビルのホテルには無い温かみで隅々まで、塵一つ無く、清潔感は最高!！ お布団がふかふかでムギュ～として安心して眠れました。 女将さんご主人、お爺ちゃま皆さん心からの笑顔で朝夕とご挨拶して下り、疲れも吹っ飛びました。 こんな古き良き宿が仙台から絶対になくなりませんように願っています。 部屋の星4なのは、冷蔵庫とポットが無かったのと近くにあるのですがコインランドリーが無かったからです。 ご飯がとても美味しいらしく、いつも食事処から良い匂いがしていました。 また近くにコンビニ、コインランドリー、イオンスーパー、有名な甘味処、居酒屋や定食屋さんも多く、一人でぼーっと心休めにも良いかも知れません。 エレベーターはありませんが階段は緩やかです。 用事無いけど、今度は食事付き...
