Stayed here for one night. The room seemed pretty dark -- they could use more lights. In fact we had to re-position the standing light to dark corner near the foot of the bed. The window we had used frosted glass, which was good because about 10 feet away are windows of an office building. The room seemed a bit stuffy at first but you could open the window and it was fine. ||||Breakfast was good, and they serve free coffee throughout the day -- and the coffee is great. The staff was friendly. I'd recommend this place to budget travelers who have been on the road a while, as you can do your own laundry.||||A quick pointer upon checking in. if you have heavy suitcases, when first walking in it looks like you will have to lug it up a flight of stairs. Non-premium for premium price. upper management thinks updated carpeting and wall paper warrants premium pricing, they are wrong. Amenities are lacking, cannot control Heating or cooling in the room, the bathroom is straight out of the 80s and wall is cracked with wall paper hanging. Only reason I give 2 stars is due to the very pleasant staff working hard in spite of the cheap company they work for and the location. The price I paid for the time machine room is double what I paid in Tokyo for a brand new hotel the previous day. Read moreExtremely courteous and friendly staffs, going all out to help make our 2 nights stay very pleasant, despite the fact that I do not understand Japanese. ||||They did not hesitate to help store my bags on early arrival and late departure.||||My room was basic with a large double bed, and is very clean. It is serviced daily. All bathroom amenities are provided. The laundrette, with washing machines and dryers, on the second (or third floor?) is are freely accessible for in house guest, other than paying a small sum for some soap powder.||||A tasty breakfast was included in the price of the room.||||I was determined to book for another stay here next April, but unfortunately is already fully booked!
