Good times in one of the most welcoming hostels I've ever stayed!
The first night I stayed there me and the owner pretty much talked all the way through the night until 4 o'clock in the morning. That dude is always good for a nice chat/ got some stories to tell.
The owner also gave me some handy advice concerning my trip to Syria/ Libanon. I eventually decided to cancel my flight from Beirut to Berlin and come back after my visit to Damascus. He then let me store my bicycle upstairs for a few days for free.
The place might seem a bit shady at first sight, however this is one of the least commercial places I've ever been to and the vibe is super positive. It's a really funny and well entertaining place and even though the facilities are a bit worn out, the structure of the place makes it the best place to come together with your fellow travelmates and get connected.
This is the definite antagonist to some fake plastic franchise generic hostel/ hotel chain and rather an experience and a way of life haha. Will definitely come back for my next stay, also because it's the cheapest place there is by far...
