Galu Gardens Apartments — Hotel in Kinondo ward

My brothers and I recently stayed at Galu Gardens for three months, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the serene environment to the top-notch facilities and excellent staff, our time there was nothing short of fantastic.

Firstly, the compound is a tranquil oasis, enveloped in lush greenery. It provided a quiet and chilled atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a long day. The abundance of greenery not only adds to the aesthetics but also contributes to a refreshing ambiance.

The staff at Galu Gardens were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. Idah, the manager, deserves special mention for her hospitality and attentiveness. She ensured that all our needs were met promptly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

One of the highlights of Galu Gardens is the well-maintained pool. It was always clean and inviting, offering a refreshing escape from the coastal heat. Whether we wanted to lounge by the poolside or take a dip, it was the perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun.

Another notable feature was the presence of coconut trees within the compound. It added a unique tropical touch and provided us with fresh coconuts whenever we desired—a delightful perk of staying at Galu Gardens.

In today's world, reliable internet is essential, and Galu Gardens delivered on this front. The internet was fast and dependable, allowing us to work, stream, and stay connected without any interruptions.

The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We had ample room to move around, and the cleanliness was evident from the moment we stepped in. It truly felt like a home away from home.

Security was also top-notch at Galu Gardens. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay, thanks to the vigilant security personnel who ensured the compound was well-guarded at all times.

Last but not least, we can't forget to mention the friendly dog that roamed the compound. It added to the homely atmosphere and was always ready to greet us with a wagging tail.

In conclusion, our stay at Galu Gardens was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the tranquil environment to the excellent facilities and friendly staff, it exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend Galu Gardens to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat...

Stayed at Galu Gardens Apartments in mid August together with my daughters and they LOVED LOVED it that they didn't want to leave when it was time to go home.They have been asking ever since when we are going back to GGA!

We got a two bedroom apartment and it was surprisingly very spacious and tastefully furnished.With just a few apartments,it is quiet and private yet homely and secure.The lawns are well manicured.There are two well maintained pools for children (& non swimmers) and for seasoned swimmers.The balconies offer beautiful views and one can enjoy the cool breeze from the ocean while seated there.There is a Banda next to the pool if you wish to have your meal outdoors.A baby cot can be provided making GGA family friendly.

GGA is located a few metres from the main road and a walking distance to the beach.The airport is a short distance away as well and transport to and from can be organized with prior arrangement.

Just incase cooking is not part of your holiday activities,there are hotels in the neighborhood or with prior arrangement with the management catering can be organized at an extra cost.There is a shopping centre nearby which is easily accessible via tuk tuk (common means of transport) or taxi.

Galu Gardens is everything you see on their website and then some. The apartment we stayed in was beautiful and incredibly clean. We basically had everything we needed and this was especially helpful because we traveled during the "pandemic" season and wanted to minimize our trips outside except when we wanted to be out for activities. The wifi was a HUGE plus because I had to work during our stay there so this was super helpful.

What the pictures don't tell you is that you will receive excellent service from Idah and her team. We stayed for seven nights and not once did we have an issue. Whenever we had any questions or special requests, the team responded promptly. Idah went above and beyond to ensure we were always safe inside and outside the property and if we needed any help finding our way around, her team was there to support. We also bagged some really good deals on activities in Diani through them which made our trip all that more memorable.
