My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of dining at Pallet Cafe while on vacation, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This gem of a restaurant offers a wide range of delicious and affordable food options. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which is even more special knowing that many of them are deaf and have been trained to work in hospitality. This unique aspect of the cafe allowed me to learn a bit of sign language through the thoughtfully designed menu, making my visit both enjoyable and educational. Pallet Cafe is also an excellent spot for those looking to get some work done. The atmosphere is laid-back, with plenty of cozy spaces to settle in with your laptop. But if you’re more in the mood for relaxation, their beach beds and hammocks are perfect for lounging the day away, with the gentle ocean breeze keeping you cool. Whether you're looking for a productive place to work or simply want to unwind, Pallet Cafe has it all. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting Diani – it’s a true haven of good food, good vibes, and meaningful...
Read moreThis cozy cafe on the beach is by far one of the best I've ever been to! My friend and I just vacationed in Diani and discovered this cafe. Every single thing is amazing! Food is wonderful, we ate at least one meal a day there almost our whole trip. We had a variety of different menu items and they were all delicious! I'm vegetarian/vegan and there were many options on the menu for me which was great. The staff is so kind and welcoming. One of our favorite things about this cafe is that they support and employ many people from the deaf community. There is a simple sign language guide in the menu to help with basic communication with the waiters. It's such a joyful experience! We interacted regularly with Susan, Joann, Joseph, Gloria and Salomi. All gracious, friendly and genuine people. We all felt like friends by the end of our trip! And the bonus of being on the beach with the beautiful atmosphere is the icing on the cake. We highly recommend this cafe, you will have a wonderful experience you...
Read moreWhat a great little tucked away spot! We travelled by tuktuk beyond the paved road to get to the cafe. We didn't know before about it's mission to give deaf people opportunities to work in the hospitality sector. The staff were attentive and helpful and the menu gave some handy signs which we could learn to say some simple things and when in doubt point at the menu. Our lunches were both well made, tasty and filling we had the Fei burger and the spicy chicken wrap, both of which came with good chips sprinkled with paprika. The homemade lemonade was also delicious, with the sugar syrup served on the side to sweeten to taste. Worth the trip to the south...
