A place of peace and healing. I booked a two night stay at the guesthouse following scalp surgery. I ended up staying for six nights! The environment is quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space to enjoy the privacy of your room and a little interaction with the terrific hosts and other guests if you desire. Edith took great care of me, and provided everything I needed to be comfortable - extra towels, a heater, salt to make my solution to care for my scalp, an extra blanket - it was heavenly! She bought me medicine at the pharmacy and ordered and picked up food from nearby Village Market. She and the other hostesses prepared breakfast every morning (it is included in the room rate). I was also able to telework with a good wi-fi connection at the house. I left Just at Home feeling rested and refreshed. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a break from Nairobi's hustle and bustle, in a friendly, welcoming and comfortable...
Read moreI was at Just @ Home on two occasions during the months of May and June 2014. Edissa, Caroline and Liliane are just wonderful hosts. I really felt at home and at ease. All rooms are really ensuite with private bathrooms and toilets. There is plenty of space to relax both indoor and outdoor (upstairs and downstairs). The high speed internet is excellent and accessible in all areas of the house and even in the gardens. Laundry is reasonably priced and food may be ordered from the village market and home delivered. The hosts were always helpful in organising this. You may even use the kitchen. The place and rooms are very clean and the staffs work hard to maintain cleanliness on a daily basis. Walking distance from the village market is a mere 5mins walk. For the price you pay versus the services provided/comfort level/hospitality etc, don't think...
