I have stayed here many times over the past five years or so. It is a lovely spot for individuals as well as families. There are only 16 rooms which I think contributes to its ambiance and "niceness". A small staff is accessible at all times, helpful and genuinely friendly. I know them all by name and they are all my favorites, so I will not name anyone here!||||For swimming, there is a well kept swimming pool - it is cleaned every morning early enough for the early risers. Or, walk to the beach, about 100 meters from the hotel. True Africanism...ish||||The main road to Mombasa and or Malindi is just 50 meters from the entrance and transportation is abundant. Very useful for excursions.||The beach is about 200 meters from the rear of the hotel....also really neat.||||The Manager shows up for 1 hr everyday, does a show of being on top of things and is then off to someplace having done absolutely zilch.||||The downer was raising room prices on the 11th hour. I thought it tacky!||||There are no security concerns here; if anyone is robbed as I have seen mentioned on other reviews, it is decidedly...
