Mombasa Go-Kart and Adventure Park — Attraction in Shanzu ward

My visit to Mombasa Go-Kart and Adventure Park with my family and friends was an absolute blast from start to finish. From the moment we stepped foot into the park, we were greeted by an atmosphere buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

The park's layout is well-designed, with a variety of activities spread out in a spacious and picturesque setting. We started off with the go-kart racing, and let me tell you, it was an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride like no other. Zooming around the track, competing against each other, and feeling the wind rush past us was an exhilarating experience that left us all grinning from ear to ear.

What truly sets Mombasa Go-Kart and Adventure Park apart is its diverse range of activities. After our intense go-kart races, we decided to tackle the adventure course. From rope bridges to zip lines, cargo nets to climbing walls, the obstacle course provided a perfect blend of challenge and fun for both kids and adults alike. It was fantastic to see everyone pushing their limits and cheering each other on as we conquered each obstacle.

Throughout our visit, the park staff were friendly, attentive, and dedicated to ensuring our safety and enjoyment. They provided clear instructions before each activity and were always on hand to offer assistance or guidance whenever needed. Their professionalism and enthusiasm added to the overall positive experience of our visit.

One of the highlights of the day was the picnic area where we took a break to refuel and recharge. The park provides ample seating and shaded areas, making it a perfect spot to relax, enjoy some snacks, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. We appreciated the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities, which further enhanced our enjoyment of the day.

Overall, our time at Mombasa Go-Kart and Adventure Park was nothing short of fantastic. We went 2 kids 2 adults- the karting didn’t wait for all 4 of us and started the kids as I went to the washroom even though they asked so I basically drove by myself as they were finishing up and I was starting…so not fun at all. I will say the place is unique and kids can spend all day having fun with the many activities BUT DO NOT EAT at the restaurant- by the time we sat down kids were hungry and we wanted a quick bite before hitting the road…first no white wine by the glass- only one sweet white wine and otherwise bottles- second we waited 2 hours for our food- the pizza came after one hour and the chicken nuggets and beef stew took 2 hours…totally unacceptable- we asked for a gesture from management and they offered to discount our 2 plates of chips…basically 2 usd for the 2 hours of waiting after spending all this money on all the rides?! But the worst part is that we are all sick now and having to run to the washroom after that meal…I would recommend the park but stay away from the restaurant.

Would like to respond to your comments- #1. The track was only 10 minutes long and it wasn’t crowded so starting 7 minutes later meant I was alone most of the time- but ok that wasn’t the biggest issue- and I would not have written a review about this. #2. Yes I was disappointed that you had no dry wine by the glass but also not worth writing a review about. #3. Now the food did take way longer than you mentioned- the pizza took one hour like you said which is still a long time but manageable - we didn’t get the rest of our food until after 16:30 - which is at least another hour after the pizza- so I am not sure where you are getting the time but it is completely off. #4. My daughter and my boyfriend did get sick and that was their last meal- my son and I who had the pizza were fine. These are just facts.

How about an apology for our experience instead of blaming and...

If I could give zero stars to this place! I would! I have never been treated with such disrespect. We ordered food that we DID NOT get and then they forced us to pay or they called the police. The owner was an absolute disgrace. Tourists PLEASE BE WARNED! This place is horrible the food is bad and overcooked, the prices for rides are extremely overpriced. I really hope this business ceases to operate here, because from the terrible food and customer service they do not deserve to be operational. Many of the rides are broken and the wait for everything is extremely long in the heat. I hope another place opens and this one closes. They have a terrible system with the GoKarts and are simply trying to steal from their customers. I will be making more reviews of this place.

UPDATE: since the “owner” has responded in a very immature and inappropriate fashion. I will continue to admonish people to stay away. The owners response to my initial review clearly demonstrates how disgraceful this place is and they absolutely have no consideration for the quality of their place and customer satisfaction. Please proceed with caution and use this discourse as more reason not to attend. I will work tirelessly to ensure people are not treated this way. Absolutely...
