Oasis village Malindi — Hotel in Shella ward

We booked a two bedroom apartment for my family from 29th December to 2cd January, from the time we checked in everything about this place was just wrongfully informed. There is no formal booking you just mpesa the agent, no rules or information about conduct or stay to recording of identification details. The owner of the appartment we stayed in B104 is practically the meanest person I have encountered so far.... she doesn't speak English and she scolded my children in Italian for taking cushions outside with gestures indicating they have no brains, by the time I was getting out to the door she screamed at me in Italian banged thedoor and walked away. I went to inform the hotel caretaker he said that is her nature he will talk to her, by the time I was getting back to my appartment she had mobilised two other friends at my door still shouting because we had left the shoes outside the door as interpreted by her friend. My kids were terrified we kept insisting she should have a polite approach in addressing issues with her guest given that we had paid 680$ for the four day stay she cursed us, complained that my children are noisy and we behave like we had never stayed in an appartment resort before. Please note, the fridge door in her expensive appartment is broken, the toilet seat is cracked and to add salt to the injury she made us feel like with the 680$ paid ahe was doing us a favour. Our talk with the ground manager bore no fruits and we checked out deeply dissapointed and insulted. We have a video recording of our conversation with the grounds caretaker. I would not recommend anyone to choose this hotel the public...

Non functional pools, exposed electrical wires, septic tanks filled with stones and not cleaned, impudent and inefficient manager-Owyo and his equally shameless guards, like Albert can harass a single mother and the child. Albert snatched a coconut from the child, threathened to hit him for opening the beach gate. He further sent a message to me earlier on that he is facing financial problems insinuating financial assistance which i declined||||Under the current manager, oywo the place is rundown. The single room apartment i had stayed in was smelling of dampness, the geyser was not working and when i asked for repairs i was threathened should i not leave within few hours my luggage would be thrown out.||||Beware of this rundown place where secirity as well can be compromised.||||A man had committed suicide and the management permitted hundreds of people to enter in to see the man's body as if it was an exhibition.||||Security of the residents was severly compromised with so many unknown people entering within the premises.||||Until this management remains, Oasis remains a pathetic place to reside in. As days go on you notice the massive cracks which is suggestive of a disaster...
