Had an experience I am not about to forget anytime soon. Seems there is some collaboration with thugs and security guards or an inside job. They broke into our room while asleep at around 3am, on the final night (only the agent and security guards knew when we would be leaving btw), and stole all our valuables. What's worse the security guards didn't want to take responsibility, blaming us for not ensuring a bathroom window was locked yet for the 3 nights we were there nobody ever opened or touched it. Suspiciously, on the last evening the guard warned us there are break ins often and we need to lock the doors, (which we did, ensuring all windows and doors were closed before we slept) the same night they waited until we were asleep to break in. We slept almost at 3am and within an hour they had already broken in. We brought the police, at around 4am (when one of us realized her phone was missing and woke the rest of us to realize we all had been robed of mobile phones, bags and electronics) and the police clearly established that the person/s who broke in was/were in the compound or used the main gate, as there was no evidence of any breaches on the fence/wall as the guards wanted us to believe. The guard was even seated at the pool outside, about 5 meters from the house while we were going to sleep as we spotted him while locking the doors to sleep and as he also confessed, begging the question how he never spotted the thief, unless its someone also living in the same compound of course. Long story short, we had to travel back to Nairobi dejected, surface to say we are waiting for police investigation report. GO THERE AT YOUR...

Read moreDo not even consider this place. They will rob you of all your valuables while you’re asleep. The security is in on it. They stole our laptops, phones, and many other valuables while we were asleep.||||The lady who cleaned our room (DORRIS) was the only one who knew that our valuables were upstairs and not downstairs. They only attacked the room upstairs. Their names: DORRIS the cleaning lady, JACKSON the caretaker, ISIKA the manager, MOHAMMED one of the night watchmen, and PATRICK the day watchman.||||At 2:30 am, one of the guards, MOHAMMED, found us seated by the pool and told us to get inside as it was not allowed. Between 3 am and 5 am we were robbed. The same guard had no clue where the thieves came from. He didn't see thieves walking out with three bags but he could see us swimming two hours earlier. The irony right? It’s obviously an inside job. Please save yourselves the trouble and don’t go to this place.||||We found out that in the month of November they have had four robberies. Don’t even consider it. They...
