Mariposa Residence — Restaurant in Malindi

We are international travellers staying next door to Mariposa at Happy Site. My father decided to try the restaurant, where he encountered the Italian middle aged male of who has no business running a property ANYWHERE! ||||At our cottages, there are menus from this place, lauding DELIVERY, as the rest like Osteria ( great delivery experience) No where on the Mariposa menu does it say ' PICK UP' and or NO DELIVERY. This Italian male started yelling at his employee for agreeing to come with my dad next door and take my mum's order. She had just arrived Malindi. Due to his arrogance, ny father decided to leave without drinking his tea or eat snacks, and said for his PA to have it ' to go'. Again, I called the # online where this same guy says.. no delivery, you need pick up!! Come on now???? Completely unacceptable and condescending. 1* is too much in my opinion. He needs to get it together and stop...

Pathetic attitude from the staff. The owners son is equally arrogant. I requested the staff celebrate my sons birthday by merely singing 'Happy birthday', instead Alice and her accomplice sit down ignoring my request. At first she forced me to buy a cake. I am on a strict budget, furthermore my son is not permitted to eat sugary foods. When i asked her why they have not come to sing the birthday song, they ignored me. When i insisted, i was told the staff cannot sing without a birthday cake. I refused to sit there anylonger. The owners son was unapologetic and instead told me the pizza sauce has as much as sugar as a cake has or something to that effect.
