Bridge Hotel — Hotel in Riga

The information and the photos advertised on the websites couldn't be more misleading. Aside from the fact that there were a handful of deceased bugs on the walls and ceiling of the room, the beds looked already slept-in and the room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned since they invented dusters and vaccuum cleaners. The neighbourhood also felt very unsafe and loud. There was absolutely no air in the room, and the window could not be opened due to the fact that the room was on the first floor. We had people with breathing issues and dust allergies, and when we explained the situation to the admin there, they did not do anything and said that there was no way to change the room. In addition, the furniture was half-broken and wobbly, the beds were dusty, and the place ran out of toilet paper which they didn’t restock until...

I would consider this place a hostel more than a hotel, what makes it a bit unique than a hostel classification is that the room has a private bathroom. First of all we received the room without shampoo or any kind of soap. The room has nothing, like a water cooker or TV , just a bit and a private bathroom. Long story short for one night is ok, bit more rethink about another option.

The place has a free parking in case if you have a car.

The place is not really isolated that means you may hear everyone at corridor or even when they open the door. The place located 25 minutes far from old city, however we used the tram (download mobility App) and buy an online ticket since you can't buy any tickets from the tram itself. The reception was warm and friendly and the room and beds were ok for a few nights stay nothing special. The bed was comfortable but not large by any means.||The grip I have is that from day one I told the manager that the water from the shower was intermittantly cold and she just smiled and did'nt bother to come with me to check. When I caught sight of another receptionist a couple of days later and told her the same thing she apologised and told me to contact the manager, again no one came to check. When I called the manager she told me there can't be anything wrong and she had 50 guests and I was the only one who mentioned this issue.
