Fazenda Bazārs — Restaurant in Riga

Would not recommend for breakfast, the food is very meh and overpriced, the ambience is okay. The customer service was terrible. The waitress Kristina kept interrupting and rushing us, was passive agressive and not helpful to a degree where she kept asking us to pass her the plates instead of taking them herself. Hard morning? One of the guests asked for the ingredients of the sauce, Kristina did not even bother to check with the kitchen, just said to “read the menu” and that she does not know. When asked if they serve tap water, Kristina laughed and said “no we are not giving free water”. Then somehow after this she brought one glass of tap water with a smirk and a comment “here is your free water”? The customer service was crazy bad and im Lithuanian so my standarts are not high. Kristina only started caring about “if everything is okay” after I asked for her name. Then she asked if everything is okay four times and when I said that the customer service was definitely not ideal, Kristina kept interrupting and not wanting to hear the feedback. We were still in the restaurant (only guests) when we heard Kritsina loudly complaining about us to her colleague. Today was definitely not a good day for Kristina. I think she should maybe take some course on soft skills or something. I do not recommend this...

Terrible experience finding three separate hairs in each of three dishes ordered. UNBELIEVABLE! Upon questioning, the waitress admitted to those being dog hairs. The food originally took approx. an hour to arrive and it took 15 min for the waitress to approach us with a solution (to order the same again?). This didn't seem a great option considering the sanitary concerns and long waiting times, so I went hungry. In the end I was advised that my compensatation is not paying for the food I didn't even eat. I paid for my coffee and left. After emailing the restaurant to explain my complaint I received no response and it has been weeks. This is absolutely the worst restaurant...

I recently dined at Fazenda in Riga and found the overall experience to be mixed. The quality of the food was excellent, with delicious dishes made from top-quality ingredients. However, the most notable issue was the exceedingly long waiting time.

I waited around 30 minutes for my starter and another 30 minutes for the main dish, making the total wait time for food around an hour. If you're in a rush or have limited time, I would not recommend this restaurant due to the slow service.
