Lokāls Veldze — Restaurant in Riga

Went there late evening on Monday with my friends. At first it seemed like lovely place, but quickly we realised how freezing cold was there and also at 9:30 was completely empty. Staff at the bar was nice and received us with a smile, after that the staff was not the pleasanest one. We ordered chicken burger which was tasty, as my boyfriend said. Me and my friend ordered Tom Yum with king prawns and to be honest it was the strangest Tom Yum we ate. It had just too many onions and tasted a bit like spicy tomato soup, but prawns very really tasty. Overall don’t recommend going there spending your time and money. Great place for millennials to hang out and relax after long day, great food-especially tacos, if You like a bit spicy, just ask and they will add a bit of jalepano's, i guess that's the "hotest" thing they have, but still a compliment to cheff, they where goooood. If You are a sports lover than You will definitely love the sport shows, they have on big screens. They have inside and outside tables to choose from, but come early because the place gets crowded quickly. Good selection of drinks. I visited this café and noticed something quite concerning: while waiting in line, I realized that different people were being charged different prices for the same drinks.
