I visited the hotel with my husband for one night only and it was unbelievably terrible. 1st: rooms were not up to a 2 star hotel standard, lack of toileteries and even when asked to provide us with some, they werent available.|2nd: rooms have a smoking and fungal smell with high humidity and visible moist in the ceiling.|3rd: on that night was the opening of their roof top so we couldnt sleep all night from the noise which might be acceptable but what is not acceptable is the loud voice of drunk guests in the hallway screeming and shouting at 3 am with no supervision whatsoever and at least they could have done a sound proofed rooms!! And to top it with the most disgusting scene is the hair that was on the bedsheets and the cushions!!!!! |4th: i did a spa massage since i was having a muscleache, and i have been told that the spa lady is a physiotherapist but i doubt because since then (almost a week ago) i am still in severe pain and on myorelaxant medications and anti inflammatory. |5th: whenever we used the shower a smell of sewage was spread in the room.||Breakfast was okay and staff were nice.| I definitely do not recommend...
Read moreI stayed (alone) almost one week in Guias Boutique Hotel & Spa. It has been a great pleasure to me. From this hotel it was very easy to visit, by bus or by taxi, a lot of worthfull places in Lebanon.||It felt like 'at home' to stay in this Guias Boutique Hotel, because everyone of the staff, the office-manager as Elie, but also Maurice, Sara, Jacqueline, Pierre and his sons were always helpfull. ||The room was (kept) clean, the breakfast was great and Elie and Maurice were always helpfull to find te beautiful places to visit.||I can recommend this cozy Boutique Hotel to everyone who doesn't like to stay in one of the big (read: impersonal) and very luxurious hotels, where you are treated as 'a number'. We received new sheets and towels every day. Perfect.||And you have at your disposition a mini bar into the room if you want something.||||The breakfast is so generous! Lebanese stuff like minis manouché, labne... and also classic stuff like fresh fruit juice, omelette, marmelade... really good food.
