Plage des Rois — Attraction in Jbeil

We have been going to this place for years but this will be our last time. They have added so many rules and they are extremely rude about it. The first is girls have to put a swimming cap and if you don’t have one (which you probably don’t) you have to buy one for 5$ (it’s not worth that much and it’s an ugly color). The second thing is when you want to order food. You can’t have your food by the pool and if you want to order at the restaurant there are rules there too! The service for drinks around the pool is poor as well. Finally the management staff is extremely rude and didn’t acknowledge our disappointment at all. I felt that she couldn’t care less! Never visit this place. Staff is rude, service is horrible. We visited Plaga Des Rois with my family, after being there for 2 hours and playing in the pool with my daughter, a staff member approached me and told me I couldn’t be in the pool because of what I was wearing. My outfit was swimwear but capri and t shirt style. I showed them my outfit and even compared to my 3 year old who was also wearing a long sleeve rash guard to protect from the sun. I asked what is the difference between mine and hers, they said that is the rules. Their sign in the front only stated “proper swimwear” which is what I was wearing. If i could give 0 stars. i would. when you pay 25$ the entrance you expect to be treated with respect. the manager was super rude and she didn’t allowed us to bring in our own water bottles even though we had children. she forced us to throw the water at the entrance and said that we can buy water at the bar. like seriously?!! why would anyone enforce such a policy??! and how these resorts are allowed to do so? how they even expect from us to support their bar or restaurant after such an unpleasant experience!!! this was the last time...
