Holiday Home Suites — Hotel in Ras Beirut

For last minute decision, Beirut was the destination. My hubby had to choose a hotel quickly and checked in on the spot. I was not sure what to expect arriving late night but immediately comfort replaced my unsure feelings. Pillows and bed smelled very fresh. The apartment we booked was one bed room and hall with massive balcony and great view (sea and mountain). Bathroom was very clean and kitchen is the least of my concern but was able to use for morning coffee easily. I was expecting drama with the elevator as it seems old but no surprises although we left on different times and return on different times, what I mean some times we leave early morning other times last afternoon. And we used to come very late night or early night depends. In general it was great hotel service in terms of cleaning or room service and what amazed me is every time we leave the hotel we hand on the keys and take them when we are back (loool that did not happen for long time) but it did not bother us as the staff were very friendly and never minded our strange timings. This is an average Hotel with cooking facilities in the room, and the rooms are not very big. There is a lot of noise around this place and they are doing work on the outside and you can have workmen climbing all over your balcony if you have one, not good for your privacy. The Concierge wants to know all you business and will tell anyone who asks about you which is ok if you want strangers to know all about you. the location of the hotel was the first intresting thing to made me select this suit hotel, then we take a look to the options of suits available at that time (the end of 2015) and it was easy to decide, it was a long stay for more than fifty days and thats why we need a suit with a ckichen. the weather was perfect at that time and we feel good taking breakfast in balkony and the wide view of the medetrenian was just a cross the road.the only thing which was bad is that there was NO free wifi...
