HARMONY BIRŠTONAS — Hotel in Birštonas

I didn't stay on the hotel and just went to the restaurant. I believe the rooms will be quite nice judging by the overall look of the hotel. The restaurant however was a bit of hit and miss. One dish was quite well made and original, using locally available products (eggplant, beetroot, etc). The other dish was quite the disappointment. It was fish with clamshell's none of witch are locally available (frozen produce) and everything tasted quite bad, overcooked clams, of course being frozen that's just to be expected, the side dish was fennel I believe and it was also impossibly bad, to the point that I couldn't eat it. I was really hoping to have a place to eat well in Birštonas but it seems my search for a good place will have to continue. I will probably visit this place again and update the review as I believe there are probably some better locally sourced options on the menu, but the fish dish I had should not be on the menu at all. It wasn't my first choice of dish but as I prefer fish or vegetable dishes and everything else was unavailable I unfortunately decided to try it. Given that Lithuania has some pretty good locally sourced options for fish, I'm very surprised at the choice. The restaurant itself looks clean, modern and the service was ok impeccable so I might have just had bad luck with my choice. Mind you that I believe my dish was the most expensive on the menu (not sure but I think it was) so that makes...

Loved the hotel and loved the restaurant even more. Set in the center of Birstonas Harmony features a hotel and an excellent restaurant that was one of the highlights of our visit to Lithuania.

The restaurant features modern European cuisine that is truly exceptionally prepared. All the dishes were absolutely delicious. Props to all the kitchen staff, very we'll done! The cocktail menu was also quite impressive and they were very well crafted.

We also spent one night in the hotel - all brand new, modern, and beautiful. It still had some shortcomings as not all amenities were in place, but overall, it was a great place to stay.

Only negative - there is no dedicated parking, hope this will be resolved in the future.

Will definitely return on another...

First if all Birstonas is the place worth visiting. The hotel Harmony is located conveniently in the centre of this lovely town. To the picturesque river bank is only few hundred meter. The entity is new and fresh, with modern decor and contemporary furnishing. The room was small, but with luxury bathroom and balcony.
