Skveras — Restaurant in Birštonas

Birštonas is a very nice and calm place, this restaurant is in the center. We sit on the side of the local, bees and bugs have been with us all the time. Anyway, the service was very good, two young guys took care of us and were gentle, smiling, on point. The main problem of this restaurant is the price. To me, paying almost 80€ in 4 for this offer of food is crazy. I took a Margherita, for 9€, and maybe I made the first mistake right here thinking that it could be good. It was similar to a toast and there was no pomodoro sauce on it. Basil was spread on the "pizza" without a sense. Just don't take it if you go too. I would give 1 star to the food if I count only this "pizza" and the price of It, but people with me took pork meat with salad, that seemed good, but still not worthy 16€, since the portion of meat was small. I came here one time, I think...

It just to expensive and not worth it. Place is nice to sit and have and drink, unfortunately it takes to much time - 40 min for drinks, probably because of not enough staff members. Food is served as it would be from lunch menu - easy and basic (taste wise), but prices are above average for it. Food itself not fully cooked or not well made, but again might be because it was crowed and all of staff were in a hurry. Overall when going there you should be prepared to be disappointed and hope that o the day you are going they will be more prepared for...

Kitchen closed at 19.00 on a Friday evening, which is weird for me. Not recommended, unless you have mind reading and know to come at some correct time. Cocktails were fine. Pizzas were OK. EDIT: Tries again on a more reasonable time and day, I guessed. Boy was I wrong, took even longer to even bring WATER. I guess they were fetching it from the river.
