Panorama Hotel — Hotel in Vilnius

Unfortunately, I can't give more stars. If you are going to stay just for one night, it's ok, but I would really think if need to stay longer. Well, I booked just a basic single room because I had a next day flight connection. Probably more expensive rooms have different services, but I believe the hotel should have the same standards for all rooms despite the price. This is about respect to the guests... At least clean toilet! Oh, I am really sorry, but it was disgusting! If I would stay longer, I would probably buy any type of 'bleach' and clean it myself! What about infection control?? Bathroom design is unusual, but I presume because of the bathroom size. Furniture in the room is VERY 'tired'. Again, I didn't mind for one night, but I am just guessing how many years the chair, for example, has been used 🤔 It should 'retire' long time ago. Nothing in the room! No kettle, no tea/coffe, no water. Guys, you are position yourself like European 3* hotel! European 3* hotels usually provide it. This is basic 'package'. Also, think twice if you are travelling with kids. Windows are unsafe! I don't think hotel windows should open all the way, especially on the upper floors. Ok, you will find warning about it on the windows, but... I don't think this is the correct way. It looks like 'we told you and then this is your problem.' No, hotel providing the service and must be responsible for guests safety. I presume there are some European health and safety standards that should be in place? Breakfast is very basic, but look from this side, you will not be hungry.

What about good things. Staff is very nice and helpful. Bed is comfortable. View from the window... nothing wow! really, but nice. The location is perfect for travelling, 4 minutes walk from the bus and train stations, and 11 minutes to...

The hotel is located at a good location if you want to be close to the train and bus station as well as the international bus station. If you want to visit the old town, you would need to walk around 1 km or take the bus. The cleanliness of the room didn't satisfy us. When we first entered the room, the hand soap dispenser was empty and the trash bin was dirty with something that looked like poo or blood. When the cleaning lady came, she just took toilet paper and hand soap and rubbed the dirty spot. That is not a professional cleaning, she should have instead used a professional cleaning liquid and desinfectant. Furthermore, the surfaces (e.g. walls) in the room didn't seem that clean. The reception didn't inform us about an important issue during our arrival: For 3 days the city was doing technical work on the heating system and therefore there was no hot water in the shower at all. Others also weren't aware of it. This should be communicated to people by their arrival or even before, and also be given the opportunity to cancel the booking or book to another hotel. There are people who stayed there for days and imagine having to shower with cold water for 3 days or not being able to shower at all! Lastly the reception didn't inform us about check-out or breakfast times, which is also part of the check-in process. The young blond receptionist is doing his job...

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The reception service needs improvement plenty of guest are checking in and only one person is there during peak hour while there are two on duty at night time. The facility need major renovation, the corridor seems so dark, the door of the other room will be heard when they close or open it. The room is also dark for it only have light near the door, no lights on the ceiling only side lamps. No outlet in the bedside and it is so damn hot in the room there is one electric fan abd even if you request for another one they will not give. I called the reception and they said go down there to get the fan but when we go down they said they will look for it. Until the day we check out they did not provide.We have no choice but to open the window even if it too noisy outside. When asked if there is a room with aircon she proudly said they don't have. I asked for a hypo allergnic rm and they did not provide. The beddings are even in the reverse side. Water in the toilet is always hot.Towels are nit that white. No minibar in the rm, no complimentary coffee or tea not to mention that this is a hotel not a hostel. The are hostels with complimentary coffee or tea. There is kettel but no cups.
