Small and cozy Japanese restaurant known for its exquisite sushi.
Tiny place located in the main railway station area has just four tables and few seats by the sushi bar. Wooden interior is simple and has one accentuated wall painting of a red-haired japanese girl holding a stork in her hands. It right away tunes you in a right mood and leaves a pleasant feeling of authenticity.
All attention is centered around the food. Even though the menu is concise, don't hesitate to seek for advice of a very knowledgeable staff. We entrusted them to lead the journey and were rewarded with unforgettable experience.
All fish is super fresh and sourced from trusted sources. Most of it comes from Portugal and Spain and of a very top quality.
It makes sense to start with Sashimi first to enjoy the purity of tastes and discover the diversity of fish varieties. Served with aged soy sauce, ginger, radish and lotus root specialy marinated by chef. Sashimi are simply state of the art and my personal favourites!
Nigiri are made of generous slice of fish on top of the riceball with hint of wasabi. It's beautifully balanced.
There is a wide range of maki rolls. All time classics like California or Philadelphia come with a modern twist and artistic presentation.
We loved soft shell crab maki decorated with marinated pumpkin, tobiko and kimchi sesame and melting in the mouth snow crab gunkan.
What really amazed us is this delicate interplay between Japanese tradition and local signature.
We chose chalky mineral Pierre Gimonnet grower champagne with bright acidity to pair with those seafood treasures and were not disappointed.
Definitely in my top list of Vilnius...

Here, you'll find the perfect nigiri, The one that unfolds the story. The way each dish is made with care, The way each brings a flavour flare.
Take your time, really do, Enjoy each second before it's through. Never rush, not in here, This is heaven. You're welcome, dear.
So sit at the bar, learn the art, It will take one bite to steal your heart. And then when time comes to leave, You wonder if you will ever again feel. Or is this over? This is a breakup, Or can we meet again and make up?
Narushi is the best sushi in Baltics! The way they make everything with care. The wy they can describe akami, chutoro, otoro. They know the art, and they respect it. Their knife skills, their focus on quality... it's just amazing. I only go to sit at the bar and learn. Dreaming one day! I can do the same, naive I know.
Try the butterfish nigiri and the maki. Absolute blast of flavours. Skip the tuna tartar.. the butterfish rules here.
Ps otoro...

The restaurant is small and cozy, they have only a few tables plus the chefs counter. We sat at the counter and enjoyed the view of the chefs working.
The menu is sharp and the options tempting. We had a couple sushi rolls and gunkans.
We got three rolls - Spicy tuna, Escolar and Akame Otoro. Escolar was a far favorite. Akame coming second and wouldn’t order spicy tuna again - it was good, but compared to the other options on the menu it’s too basic : they are offering great sushi and very interesting flavors combinations, ordering a boring spicy tuna was a miss on something more interesting.
Gunkans, both toro and snow crab were very delicious! Snow crab as a favorite.
Our server was very friendly and super fun to talk to. Carefully explained everything to us about menu, ingredients and gave us great suggestions.
We will absolutely be back to try everything else on the menu. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for real sushi in Vilnius. So far best sushi for us...
