Paikis — Restaurant in Vilnius

Visited Saturday 7th of June, around 14:00 Service was friendly and straightforward, staff spoke English and were not faking a nice attitude.

Drinks (Gira) arrived immediately accompanied by a small bowl of tasty crisps.

Food arrived in less than 10 min. and was hot, fresh from kitchen. My fried cod was delicious, crispy and looked good. Fries was crispy and tasty and the salad was good.

Seating outside was simple, cozy and a nice escape from the busy surroundings.

I paid around 12 euros, and left completely full from the generous portion, and would definitely come back another time.

Thanks for food made with love, and service that is genuine.

I do not like delivery, especially for the fried food (by the time you get it it's passed the crunchy and hot phase and is wet and falling apart), but the Downtown food hall doesn't have the best atmosphere, it was cold though we sat inside, it lacked cosiness and with more than a half places closed it's a bit of a ghost town. But the food at Paikis was great as ever so you can oversee the place!...

We discovered this place by accident as we were driving by, a total gem! We tried their “special” fish and chip classic. The fish was fresh and juicy with a crispy outside. The fries were also delicious, served with three different dips, each unique in flavour but equally as good. The prices were absolutely reasonable and the staff that served us were very very polite and friendly. 10/10...
