Vijokliai Beer Garden — Restaurant in Vilnius

Chose this restaurant based on the Google reviews but unfortunately we were very disappointed.

Walked in and there was no real greeting. Asked if we could sit down at a table and told yes. Sat there for a few minutes and no waiter appeared so deduced we may have to order at the bar.

Approached the bar and given a menu. The food menu was very limited but we both found something we fancied.

Went to the bar and ordered. Asked for the Grande Nachos as a shared starter followed by a Burger Combo and a Wings Combo.

As soon as order was placed a card machine was presented to me. No - would you like to pay now or how would you like to pay Cash or Card?

Nachos were delivered to table, no side plates or cutlery. Upon asking were directed to plastic cutlery next to the bar.

Within a few minutes of receiving the Nachos the mains were delivered to the table. I really dislike this - you order a dish listed as a sharer and request it as a starter so why would you want your mains at the same time?

The food was OK, nothing special and definitely not worth the price.

The service was non exististent. No interaction from the staff - not sure if that was because we were foreigners or because we were older. Such a shame because we enjoy a lively atmosphere!

All in all not an experience that I would recommend. Probably the worst service in a restaurant that we have had during a 3.5 week stay in...

The burritos were quite good but that was the only good thing here. Service was horrid, you walk up to the bar, standing there waiting to be acknowledged and they won't stop talking amongst themselves until you interrupt them to try and order. Seeing as I was literally the only customer in there at the moment, was a bit surprised. For a place calling themselves a beer garden they had a small selection of beers, and more expensive than places in the direct center...

Somehow the glasses empty too fast and the refill costs 4-5€. Coming here again soon. […] Had good service and great vegetarian taco 2nd time around. The toilets are clean but not nice and the place had a bit too many mosquitoes for my taste but it has a character that I like. Still worthy of 5 stars from my...
