I recently stayed at the Ibis budget Luxembourg Aéroport and found both positive aspects and areas needing improvement.

Convenient Location: The hotel’s proximity to the airport is a huge advantage, especially for travelers with early or late flights. Restaurant Access: The on-site restaurant, shared with the neighboring Ibis hotel, is a handy option for dining without having to search for alternatives. Bus Stop: The bus stop right in front of the hotel is a thoughtful touch, offering easy access to public transport for exploring the area.
Disliked:
Service Issues: My experience with the restaurant service was disappointing. There was an instance of overcharging for a drink, which was only resolved after raising the issue with the reception staff. Breakfast Quality: The breakfast offerings were underwhelming, limited to a frozen croissant and juice. Expanding the menu would greatly enhance the experience. Aging Infrastructure: The hotel’s facilities are showing signs of wear and tear, with a lack of soundproofing being particularly noticeable. A renovation could significantly improve guest comfort. Room Amenities: The absence of a phone in the room is inconvenient, especially for guests needing to contact hotel staff or services. Inconsistent Staff Service: While one staff member was very helpful and resolved the issue promptly, the initial encounter at the reception was less accommodating. Consistent service would make a big difference. Read moreHello, We had an outstanding and remarkable stay thanks to the people who work in this hotel. Two of the people I interacted with were the Lady from Reception born in Ukraine. (to my shame I did not dare to ask her name) She was a sweetheart. He was patient and guided us how to get to the city quickly and easily. The second person I spoke with was Mr. Marco de la Bar, born in Portugal, who, to our admiration, speaks several foreign languages very well.
For people like them, who, despite the fatigue accumulated throughout the work week, they keep a calm and smiling attitude. People who travel will always feel safe surrounded by people like them.
Thank you for giving us the chance to highlight this feedback, the professionalism and kindness with which these two employees fulfil their mission every day at work.
We recommend this Miss who speaks Ukrainian and Mr. Marco who also speaks Spanish among other languages, to receive the premium/bonus added to the salary and development training days for the subjects that are interested that are related to the hotel activity.
It would be extraordinary if there were a procedure and a career path within the hotel, opening up the opportunity to promote people like them to management positions.
Appreciating this feedback form, I hope that it will not remain only simple words and that "someone up there" will reward the professionalism, the dedication towards people, namely the hotel's customers, of these representatives=employees of the hotel.

Read moreI can’t understand how this hotel has such good reviews! Their service is just mediocre! They were supposed to have shuttles from/to the airport, we called them through the tourist information desk at the airport, they said they would be there in 10 min. They weren’t! We called 3 times, walked through the whole airport parking to find the van when it was -9 Celsius outside. On the third time and after 40min they showed up, no excuses, no apologies. When in the hotel, it didn’t have internet and the vending machine wasn’t working to get water bottles. We got a room for 4 people and it didn’t have any privacy! No separation between rooms. The washroom was in the middle of the room. There were a curtain to separate room to the bathroom. And even closing the curtain, if someone was in one of the beds, they could see who was having a shower or out of shower naked. The room where the toilet was was SO small and claustrophobic. It is impossible for a tall person sit on the toilet, close the door and feel comfortable to do their business. Besides that, we could hear everything that was going on the the toilet room across the whole room. They have service room but didn’t tell us they would go to our room everyday. The beds we left something on top of it weren’t made. Some towels were changed, others weren’t. Some garbage were collected, some weren’t. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend it even...
