I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. While the room itself was acceptable, numerous issues made my stay highly unpleasant. Firstly, there was no water heater in the room, which was a basic necessity. The air conditioner remote was not working, leaving me unable to adjust the temperature. As a result, I struggled to sleep comfortably in the room. Additionally, the television was in poor condition and barely functional, adding to the frustration.
The electric kettle provided was rusted, which was both unhygienic and unacceptable for a hotel. Furthermore, the cleaning staff displayed a lack of manners by cleaning the window from the outside while I was trying to sleep. This caused a significant disturbance, and I believe such tasks should be handled at more appropriate times to avoid inconveniencing guests.
Another issue was the unprofessional behavior of the night-shift receptionist. He spent most of the time sleeping instead of attending to guests and lacked basic courtesy when interacting with customers. The Wi-Fi provided by the hotel was extremely slow, making it difficult to use even for basic tasks.
To make matters worse, contractors were allowed to carry out their work during hours when guests were likely to be resting, causing further disturbance. On top of all these problems, there was a sudden power outage that lasted for 1-2 hours, leaving the room without electricity during that time.
Overall, my stay at this hotel was a terrible experience. The lack of basic amenities, poor service, and constant disturbances made it impossible to relax or enjoy my time there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would strongly advise management to address these issues...
Read moreFriendly, Clean, Comfortable and within budget||||Provided that I am not really a person to go on Trip Advisor just to write a review I must say I am very impress with this hotel hence, thats why I'm taking my time to write a review on them.||||We arrived at the Airport around 12.10am, at that time of hour we were grateful that the hotel provided a pick-up and send off service to the airport for free. The receptionist were friendly and the first room we slept in the first night were a little small to fit the four of us but, that was our fault as we had last minute change of plans to recruit two more people on the trip. We requested for an extra bed but the room was too small so she switched us to another room on our second night there which, was bigger and enough to fit one additional mattress. There were no additional charges for the change of room besides charging us RM 30 only for the mattress. The TV there does have a thumb drive/USB slot so you can bring along your movies and just plug it in to watch.||||There is 24 hours "mamak" food restaurant across the hotel which, is within walking distance. A small bakery which sells the softest bun. Recommended to try the Santinos Pizza just a bit further still within walking distance, try the pizza which has chicken and yogurt sauce. It's so delicious. Price wise is considered affordable and within our budget. A 24/7 convenience store called "Oranges" is right around the corner if you need to buy some necessities like toothbrush or chips and drinks. ||||The hotel does provide transportation to the town at MYR 25 as I remembered. Read moreI was with my wife booked Goldenhill Hotel reroute to Taipei the next morning. We were told the airport transfer were free to and from airport ETA. 1515hrs on 13Sep2019.After custom clearance around 1530hrs,we waited till 1605hrs before I made a calll confirming if the driver is picking us up or not and were told to wait 25mins as the driver was on his way. To my astonishment, the hotel was less the 2km away, why he needs 25mins to reach the airport?? ||When he finally reaches the airport at 1635hrs,he didn't even bother to look for us, Just sitting in the van playing with his phone. I finally saw him and walked over myself and asked him why takes him that long to fetch us and why can't even have the courtesy to call us to take alternative transport instead of making us wait that long!! ||To my surprise, he answered me he has other work to do and it's alright for us to wait since the transfer is free!! Wow, what a dedicated staff this hotel has hired.
