King Hu Restaurant 京滬飯店 — Restaurant in Borneo

Been to this restaurant for a few times, Very unpleasant dining experience during our last visit for bday celebration. Made a reservation at 630pm and reached there on time, however was told by the staff that we have to leave by 7.40pm as the very same table was booked by others at 7.40pm. Hello?! Since when did we have a dining time limit of 1 hour at your restaurant? Even buffet dinner nowadays have time limit of 2 hours+ right? It's your own problem for overbooking your dining tables for other clients, so why should we pay for your own mistake? We had no choice but to stuff all 7 dishes into our stomach within less than an hour. By 7.35pm the waitress came to clean up the table despite we were still having conversation with our relatives at the table. Your food usually tastes good, however the meal was totally disappointing for all of us as we didn't enjoy eating there, we were merely filling up our stomach with whatever food served on the table first.

You are welcome to dine in here only if you are a fast eater, or else you'd probably end up with indigestion and disgust from the awful service here. No matter how successful is your business, do not forget that good service is important to keep your...

Make reservation first!

Dinner time is crowded. If you didn’t make reservation, you gonna spend time waiting to be seated outside the restaurant.

service In restaurant: time taken to serve food was within 15mins, real quick! But not all the waitress are gentle in handling food, there was one or two looking fierce with poker face. Not sure if they were way too busy or unhappy with their work.

Contact: they barely pick up call! I called over 10 times in one day to make one successful reservation. It was terrible experience in making reservation 🥲

Food Everything we ordered taste good Beijing Duck Set - the skin to wrap duck is thick, sauce is sweet and taste like cha sao sauce, while the complimentary soup taste real good! Sweet & sour Shrimp String Bean with sliced pork Fried mantao - big, 2 persons sharing one is sufficient

Time Spent From the moment we sit till we made the payment, was within 60mins.

environment They have good functioning air cond, the restaurant is cold. Good hygiene, didn’t see rubbish on the floor.

With a very good mood looking for nice food. When came into the restaurant, a little fatty aunty with golden hair serving with a very very very rude attitude. Trying to speak local language where she know how to speak mandarin (where we already discussing in mandarin and asking her in mandarin). She seem purposely make confuse and with very unwillingness to take order like we owe her decades of thousand. What a joke with this kind of service attitude still can be having hired in the restaurant. In overall of the foods we took, it is quite tasty in fact. Just due such lousy attitude treatment spoiled up the whole day traveling mood. Feeling bad. Further from the above, the chinese tea came very beginning was thought is a free drink but in the end, they charge direct into bill without inform any one of us. Kind of feeling been cheated or just hidden fair which did not informed early. Really...
