Have you all ever experience in hotel that cleaner start to knock your door by 9.30am in the morning to request room make up?🤣🤣🤣 Hahaha... Yes I did! I saw the guy wearing pyjamas at next room with an aukward face at 9.30am this morning. For me, the first day, the cleaner guy come to knock my door at 10am and ask for room make up, i request him to come back at 11am, due to im preparing myself to go out, but the cleaner has rejected, from his face, it sound like 11am is too late for him to make up the room, then i agreed with 10.30am for make up the room, as i decided to prepare myself fast and go out earlier. Second day, when i go for hotel breakfast at 9.30am and come back by 10am, i am shocked that my room has been done make up, i sudden feel scary in heart! 🥶 I take morning bath every day, i cant imagine if i forget to lock the door from inside & im taking bath and do not hear the knock??? Too scary!!!😳 Third day, i keep reminding myself to lock door from inside before sleep, and i also put on the tag of "do not disturb" on the door knob. I never thought of this tag got such function before🤣 to avoid cleaner disturb me from wake up just to tidy up my bed🤣 In the morning, when i go out from hotel by 12.00 noon plus, this is the time i change the tag on door knob into "make up room" & i light on the screen on the wall for "make up room". Then, when i stop by hotel counter to waive my parking ticket, i request room service from counter. Guest what is the output? 😁😄 I reach hotel just now by 9.30pm, and the light of "make up room" was still on, the tag of "make up room" at door knob is still there. Ok la, i have turned it again become "Do Not Disturb". For the next two days, i have decided to remain the "Do Not Disturb" till i check out the hotel & i will not request room service again. Too bad i have book the same hotel for 5 days 1 shot. I should try 1 night first, then rebook again for the next if it is good. Usually i practise that, this is the first time i practise differently, too bad... P/s 1: Guest stay for 1 day have right to use the room till 12noon (check out time), whereas the guest stay for more than 1 day do not have such benefit.... P/s 2: I wonder what is the working time of hotel staff? By 12noon finished all the room service task and go home already? P/s 3: I have chosen this hotel at the end when i saw review saying the breakfast are very nice.... but.... hmmm..... hahahahaha P/s 4: The room carpet is dirty, not really meant got soil or rubbish, but can feel it is dirty when step on it, if can have 1 time use slipper, then i guest will be better.

After receiving my letter from the Sarawak Health Department and approval from my superior to volunteer for medical coverage at SUKMA XXI (21st Malaysia Games), I booked a hotel at the last minute. I had requested a single, double bed. Still, only a Tower A Twin Beds Room was available due to the high demand from contingents, technical officers, and SUKMA spectators. Given the circumstances, I had no choice but to proceed with the booking. Despite the last-minute arrangements, I found the bed, mattress, pillows, and blankets quite comfortable. The room featured a shower, a shower head, and a toilet. The hotel provided basic amenities such as a comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, sanitiser bag, cotton wool, toilet paper, clean towels (minus a small hand towel), and small bottles of body wash and shampoo. Additionally, there was a daily supply of two bottles of drinking water, tea, instant coffee packs, sugar, and creamer. The room was also equipped with a kettle, hairdryer, well-functioning air conditioning, a TV with a satisfactory selection of local and international channels (though I seldom watched it), a small fridge, a safety box, and a cupboard for hanging clothes. Paper slippers were provided, and an iron (without an ironing board) was available upon request. Regarding the hotel's facilities, the wifi connection is moderate, might disconnect once you stop using it for a while and require you to reenter the username and password again. The gym was satisfactory and required a room card to access. However, the pool was a bit of a disappointment; it was small, crowded, and filled with children, but given the hotel's pricing, I didn't expect much more hotel service clodidn'trlier than 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and slightly later on weekends, but ordering food through Grab, a popular app in Southeast Asia, was easy and convenient. The breakfast was decent, with a mix of local and international options. Overall, the hotel provided good value for my price, though it is not within walking distance of the main tourist attraction, the Waterfront. However, this was not a significant issue, as Grab (similar to Uber) was readily available for transportation. I would consider staying here again during peak seasons or if other preferred options were unavailable.

Staying here as we’re having event at Harbor View Hotel. Check in at 3pm but we manage to check in around 2.30pm, not sure if can check in earlier than that. Location- easy to access but at night quite dark. So be careful if using own vehicle. Elevator- have to use access card. (2 access card given upon check in) Room- not so clean, acceptable. Got trace of previous users. Air cond not so cold. Windows also filthy, if not views would be amazing. Swimming pool- located at 4th floor. No lifeguard tho. Socket- travel friendly. Got plenty of socket in this room, not to worry Facilities- have to ask for iron. Extra towel also have to ask for them. As they only provided 2 towels. (We’re staying at rooms for 4 people) Pillow and towel cleanliness is sub par. Tv got only 2 channels working. Have mini fridge.

Hi, I was planning my trip bout few month ago , while I have decide to book for this hotel as my place to stay. My check in process was good as the staff very helpful and well explained bout my room and etc. From outside the building, I have seen the other tower several floor of the building was moldy with greenish. I wonder how old this building will be and what does the hotel management do to keep this hotel look pleasant from far. Apart from my expectation that building will have attraction as previous I believe this building never be this shabby, empty and look creepy, NO mini shop available, with lousy parking system that we need go to lobby to scan our parking card as we leave every time. After took my room key , I need to scan my card at the lift to go my room. All the way to my room, the corridor have musty smell. maybe from the carpet. As I enter my room, the room spacious. I check surrounding found out the toilet have this yellowish color on the toilet bowl & i try to flush the toilet still the yellowish stain not gone, the shower was hard to pull out plus hot water was not hot enough. I recheck my bed, pillow, blanket pretty good with comfy. The wallpaper was not glued properly kinda old fashioned. NOT attractive at all.. the view from my room so far good as river view. For the bath towel have few stained as I need to replace for new clean one. Happy with new replaceable clean towel. Staff apology for that. That's fine. Well, since my stay wasn't include with breakfast, I decided to order from room service or just go outside to town maybe. Air conditioner was cool enough to keep me cozy all night long. In future, I really hope that this property could be more attractive interior, entertainment with more shops and more choice of food. I have no complaint bout staff services as they do their job well to serve every guest needs yet large or low occupancy. Unique Swimming Pool shape is there . I have seen Pool Deck too but unsteady, I scare every step on wooden stair is fragile.. The view on the pool deck is very beautiful & please Keep the safety more as slippery when the floor is wet. Dear Property Owner, maybe this time you need to reconsidering what the best to keep your building more look clean, exclusive, from outside to attract more visitor to stay, do drastically renovation of facilities inside the room , get rid all the moldy from every side corner inside the bath room maybe get replaced , & most importance is PLEASE make the hotel alive with AWESOME Environment for Pleasant Stay in future. Your Hotel got the potential to be as great as other hotels in town as you could...
