Kundasang Trail Homestay — Hotel in Borneo

What I can conclude is the homestay is adequate. Just the right size small fridge, just enough cooking appliances, pretty standard. What I'm a bit surprised is that the homestay is just nearby the town area but the coldness between them is a lot different. It is quite windy here.

We don't really have any issue during our stay but if I had to nitpick, the sound, or rather the echo coming from loud vehicle passing through the main highway is very audible but once you're inside the house with doors and windows closed, it's quiet. The internet provided is very slow, seems like less than 10Mbps speed only so, it lags a lot when viewing online videos from the TV but it's not like there are no mobile coverage there so I can still use my phone.

There are few places outside that seems to be suitable for camping and when I ask how much would I have to pay extra if I want to camp and they said its free to use as long as we keep clean. Unfortunately, my brother didn't come with his camp but it's good to know.

The house was so clean and fully equipped. The owner provided almost everything you need for simple cooking like sugar, salt etc. The kitchen utensils were all clean. He even provided toys for kid and Netflix was an extra! The view was spectacular. I accidentally left a stuff there and the owner helped to send it back to me. Assalamualaikum. Saya dan suami menginap di rumah indah ini selama 2 malam. Lokasi rumah di tengah pekan Kundasang, tempat strategik dekat dengan warung makan dan Market Bataras. Rumah sangat baru, bersih dan selesa. Perabot serta reka bentuk dalaman yang moden, sesuai untuk keluarga bersaiz 4-6 orang. Pinggan mangkuk dan perkakas memasak disediakan, beserta dapur masak elektrik. Rice cooker dan water boiler pun ada. Tandas terbahagi kepada 2, shower dan toilet. Sangat bersih, baru, selesa, lantai tandas tidak licin, air tidak bertakung, dilengkapi dengan pemanas air. Kelebihan menginap di Kundasang Trail Homestay ialah ‘privacy’, memandangkan tempat lain penuh dengan pelancong dan keadaan agak bising. persekitaran dan suhu rumah juga tidak terlalu sejuk untuk tidur yang lebih berkualiti.
