Lot 10 Boutique Hotel: A Clean and Comfortable Stay
Lot 10 Boutique Hotel offers a pleasant stay with its clean and well-maintained environment. While it might be an ordinary hotel, it certainly excels in providing a comfortable experience. Rooms: I opted for a deluxe room for extra space, and it was a good choice. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked well, although the outdoor unit was a bit noisy. The bed was comfortably soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. Amenities: Basic amenities were provided, including a kettle with tea and coffee, along with creamer and sugar. However, an iron was missing from the room. Interestingly, there were two Bibles in the room, which might be a plus for some guests. The open-style wardrobe with four hangers was convenient. A refrigerator was also available to keep drinks and snacks cool. The provided toiletries (soap, body wash, and shampoo) were in small bottles, so you might need to use them sparingly. Towels were provided and clean, although they seemed a bit worn out. A hairdryer was also available for guests to use. Facilities: The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, which is always a plus. However, the TV was not a smart TV, limiting viewing options to local channels. There's no smoking or vaping allowed in the hotel, which is great for those who prefer a smoke-free environment. Be aware that there's a RM500 cleaning fee for smoking in the hotel. An intercom phone is available for easy communication with the staff. Location: The hotel is located near a church, which rings its bells every 30 minutes. This might be a minor inconvenience for some, but I personally found it okay. Parking also available and it's free. Overall: Lot 10 Boutique Hotel is a decent choice for travelers looking for a clean and comfortable stay. The standard rooms are reasonably priced, and the deluxe rooms offer more space. While it lacks some modern amenities like a smart TV and iron, it makes up for it with its cleanliness and comfortable beds. The hotel's no-smoking policy is a definite plus. Tips for fellow travelers: If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to request a room away from the church bells. Consider bringing your own iron if you need one. If you plan on watching movies or shows, you might want to bring a device to connect to the TV. Be mindful of the small toiletries and use them sparingly. Treat the hotel facilities with care so that other guests can enjoy...
Read moreThe room is relatively clean although the furnishing is rather jaded and the entire place could use a bit of refurbishment. It is located relatively close to the city center.
If you are going to be out of the hotel most of the time besides bedtime, then I guess this hotel is adequate although there are a few things that you may want to take note of.
The soundproofing is poor. Throughout the night loud vehicles zoomed up and down the streets outside. The hotel is located on a street corner so all the rooms are affected. Early the following morning a group of guests having aerobics can be heard through the thin walls as well.
The shower only had a ceiling mounted showerhead. Trying to avoid your hair getting wet while showering may be a challenge unless you wear a shower cap.
I wasn't expecting much for the buffet breakfast but yet it still managed to disappoint me. Everything was cold. Even the fried rice and noodles. At first I thought it was because the food was left out too long and not warmed up. But even after the worker replenished the food, the just brought out food was also cold. The least they could have done is heat up the food using...
Read moreI stayed in this hotel in early November for only 1 day (for business purposes),which i made my booking through Agoda. The bad experience received from the front desk during my check-in when it took me about 20 minutes to received the room key. I don't know what makes them so 'busy' of doing and writing some papers on the receptionist table, but i wish at least they have some courtesy to say sorry for make me waiting that long. Even though they had 3 receptionists working during that time, supposed they know how to manage work properly if they received proper training from the hotel management.||||The deposit charges was also quite expensive, RM100, which are 100% of the hotel rate not 50% rate as other hotels, and they also did not accept payment by debit but only using credit cash and cash. ||||I hope the hotel management can take this issue into account and do...
