OYO 89568 Mangrove Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

Hotel is suitable a simple stay and rest. Just don't expect complete package. Bed is comfortable, hot shower, air conditioning is in working condition. Yes, there's still wear and tear here and there, but not a big issue for me as I'm just looking for a budget stay. The thing that concerned was the musty smell for my friend's room because there's no ventilation, while my room has ventilation in the toilet. Also the doors of both of our room seems kinda hardly close properly, causing us to worry about the safety. Anyway, we don't have any security or disturbance issues during our 2 night stays. This Hotel is horrible. In room 402 there was mold all over the bathroom ceiling and it had an intense smell of mold in the whole room. The walls, the door, the floor everything was dirty. After I complained I got room 502 which probably causes the mold in 402, because the toilet flush is broken. Room 502 was also dirty and it had an intense smell of cigarette smoke in there, even it says non smoking-room. I booked with Agoda and so the person at the counter of the hotel said I can't get a refund and need to contact Agoda. In the end I had to stay there because it was already late. Very poor hygiene. Beds are covered in dust, room smells like store, the worse is the bathroom. The bathroom floor and toilet bowl.had yellowish stain. The pail they prepared covered by molds from the moist and the handle was dirty. The water stop running in the middle of shower because they didn't pump the water in in the morning.
