OYO 89577 Kristal Hotel — Hotel in Borneo

Impromptu trip to keningau. Decided to pick the first hotel we saw. Turns out it was not a bad experience. Except it could have been better if we read the reviews first. The hotel was old. it was well maintained. Buttt the ancient air conditioner decided to sing the whole night. Woke up every 2 hours due to the sound. It worked perfectly (cold) but it needed to be fixed (the sound). The room was spacious and clean Large bed. No carpet inside the room Toilet looks dirty but it’s clean. Water heater works Tv - only local channels are available (tv1,2,3 and NTV7) No lift so don’t bring heavy luggage Parking - plenty (free) Hotel was at the town centre - near to banks, mall, watson Price - cheap...

This hotel is okey if you are looking for a cheap hotel to stay for 1/2 nights. The only problem I have is the parking and the noisiness of this place especially at night because this hotel is attach to a supermarket , so its hard to find a place to park and the sound of cars bothers me. But the good thing about this hotel is tht the staff is nice and friendly and it is located in the heart of Keningau so its quite easy to walk to the bank or even to the market to or to...

The room okey but the customer service isnt at it best, the reception ask us to check in at 2.30 pm but in the booking. Com it stated that we can check in at 2pm, when i came at 2pm they ask me to wait for 30 minutes, i came back to check at 2.30 pm they still can check is cause the supervisor isnt around, since i have to rush to Tenom i have no option but to check in only after i get back from Tenom.
