Island Hostel — Hotel in George Town

Booked through agoda. Suddenly next day received a message from a singaporean number requesting to upload ic. Property said from third party. Only needed to produce ic upon checking in. Guess what??? Self check in!!! Otherwise, room is comfortable and clean. Mineral water provided at kitchen . Would be nice if air cond is switched on below in the morning for more comfortable ironing. Semua kat bawah. Vending machine ada but not working. Water filter also not cool. But the place is quite near to eateries. Parking is a problem eventhough its free open air. Very narrow. Unfriendly neighbours staring at you. Woiiii you think i stay free aaaa???? Reason for staying here is waiting for son to arrive at the nearby bus terminal. If not, preferably...

For a stopover hostel this is perfect. Very clean, comfortable beds with light duvet, 2 soft pillows, air conditioning, hanging space. Clean linen and a clean towel, liquid soap provided in bathroom and a good hot shower - very close to room, so almost like ensuite. Free refillable water for bottles, a coffee machine for which you have to pay. There is a washing machine here also. It was difficult to find but we arrived early, look hard on Google maps this is flat 1H, just walk in the gate and you'll discover that...

You have to contact a whatsapp by the front door if you want to check in.

The first time you arrive straight to search the home number, because they don't have sign of the hostel.

The checkin was fast respond by the owner (by whatsapp) The room was neat and clean. The share bathroom was clean too. There's a water dispenser you can use. You have to walk a little further if you want to grab a bite, because there's no food stall/restaurant near the hostel

Overall I really enjoy the stay...
