This place is famous for their seafood tzu char, curry noodles and kuey teow theng. Overall the food is not meeting my expectations, quite a letdown to be honest.
The Curry Noodles' curry paste is not fragrant enough and the santan is not rich either. It taste like half made curry.
The kuey teow theng is even worst, kuey teow cooked in plain water is the closest I can think of. The soup clearly is not cooked with pork/ chicken bones. There is no pork lard/ shallots oil/ garlic oil, and the shredded meat they put on top of the noodles is just a joke.
Seafood tzu char, impressive. The chef definitely is very much experienced, the mini sized lala is cooked till the perfect heat and with perfect combination of taucu and dark soy sauce. What makes a good wok hei? The food is still has some heat after 10 minutes served.
Price wise, quite affordable but the value is really depending on personal. I find the place quite nice and the tzu char is one of the best at this price range. Will not comeback for the...

Read moreA good place for dinner and supper. They have very good white curry mee, and koay tiao soup. The seafood chu char is worth trying as well.
We ordered one white curry mee, one koay tiao soup, cockles, balitom and steam octopus.
Their white curry mee is one of the best in Penang. A bit sweet, and fragrant, I think they added a bit of peanut to elevate the aroma & texture.
The koay tiao soup has pork intestines, clear and flavorful, not like ajinomoto soup.
As for the seafood, they did not overlook the seafood, and not like some other stall where it is a bit too raw for my liking. All seafood are fresh and they taste good. Just the...
