TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
DANGEROUS swimming pool, IRRESPONSIBLE boss (management), NO room services, POOR security and room door locks.
I would be that one customer who will be giving excellent rating/ recommending to friends IF ONLY an incident like this didn't happen to my brother and (as far as I know) 2 other younger kids.
So it goes like this:
I am really satisfied with the perfect interior design, friendly staff and especially, the (SEEMINGLY) nice and friendly boss, Dr C who goes around chatting with their customers. Everything is perfect on my first day here.
On the second day, we decided to go for a swim in the evening. Before that let me make it clear, there are TWO swimming pools in this resort.
We swam at the pool next to our room. We were all having fun until my brother suddenly came out of the pool with huge amount of blood gushing out of his toes. We found out that there's a really sharp, broken tile in the pool. I requested bandage from the reception counter and told them about the accident, and to close down the swimming pool.
Next morning, to our surprise, another bunch of kids were playing at the same pool with the broken tiles. There was NO warning sign, NO closing down, AND the guard on duty was warned by the hypocrite boss to NOT let other customers know about the accident. He even asked for our help to inform the kids in the pool.
The guard on duty, (the one who told us about 2 other younger boys with a much more serious wound from the same pool), even BEGGED us to not let anyone knows he is the one who talked about the 2 other accidents.
The management could've just closed down this pool, as there's another one in the resort. BUT, instead of solving the problem, the hypocrite boss Dr.C is finding faults on the guard that talked about the accident, and is going to reduce the salary of the guard once he finds out who is the one.
This angers me so much. We DID NOT ask for compensation, we DID NOT make a complain, that's because we understand that it's an accident. We only requested to close down the pool to avoid more injuries, and this is the way Dr.C chose to resolve the problem.
Even on the 4th day before we left the resort, there's still a new group of kids playing in the same pool. With the guard on duty looking at them helplessly.
FYI, my brother is one of the 3 victims who has the SMALLEST wound, and he had to get 9 STITCHES. Imagine how deep is the cut for the other two...
Read more"Save your vacation and do not book this resort. "
The "resort" is not something you would want to plan your vacation at. Do not go by the YouTube videos or "Bali" vibes quotient online. The resort is a fade failure when it comes to expectations vs reality. Rooms - The rooms aren't anything worth calling a resort look. Smelly rooms, bad views, construction going around the place, bad beds and cleaning outside the room going on 247 which looks careless. They will check the room before you leave on your face and will not even allow shoes inside compound which is good if the compound was clean before midday. The view and the accomodities inside the room doesn't work either.
Service - The lady(ies) at the reception were rude to say the least. Careless and rude. Attending multiple customers at the counter as if it's a bus station. The card machine wasn't working at the reception. Noone made sure to make sure good rooms are available or let us see where the rooms are at the compound where heavy construction was going on. No help or walk over of the resort. They just used a normal map to tell us here are your rooms. It's a blah vibe if you are from the west and haven't seen something asian yet but it's oversold and overpriced to say the same if you have seen better things in life. The location is still far from batu firangi beach and too far from Georgetown where everything is actually. The water smells nearby and is not clean at all. The cleaners and the service is horrible even till 12. The checkout experience was as horrible as the checkin experience and wouldn't call this any star resort by any experience. The construction just makes it way too worse. Ruined our vacation.
Location - Stay in Georgetown guys. Much b etter, much better accessibility to everything, much better food and much less money. If you had to stay around batu firangi area, avoid this place at all cost unless you want to go in a dirty small swimming pool in a city famous for...
Read moreI paid rm400 plus for this stay and I felt the price did not match the experience at all. I had a very very high expectations on this place when I booked it, but was truly disappointed. Maybe it was my mistake to pick a place which was not suitable for us. I came here with my mother whom cannot keep climbing many stairs as she’s an arthritis patient. Since this was a Balinese style resort, there was many high stairs and high partitions to cross.
Room cleanliness was not satisfactory at all. Spider webs everywhere, dusty and toilet wasn’t as clean as it should be.
When we arrived at the reception, too many footwear’s scattered about with leaves and flower petals remnants. the whole reception looked super messy and unorganized. Like I said, I was expecting far more than this since we paid that amount.
Id like to mention a Special thanks to Jasvina (the girl at the receptionist) because she was happy to carry our bags to our rooms. We were given the room on 1st floor, hence there would be more stairs to climb with luggages if Jasvina didn’t help us.
Also for those whom are wondering, this place is not suitable you guys who are dependent on public transportations. You need to have your own vehicle Sbb there is literally no grab around!
A very big Thanks to Aunty Bonnie, she is part of the resorts management team and was kind enough to take us to places! She knows the whole area so well, we had amazing foods with great prices instead of splurging unnecessary amounts on expensive viral restaurants!
Pls note that this a genuine review on what I personally felt about the place. Different people may feel differently about it. This review is not meant to downgrade the place in anyway, but rather to help improvise on whatever which is felt necessary....
