I'm writing this review to wholeheartedly recommend a hotel I recently stayed at, which left a lasting impression on me - it truly was an impeccable and perfect accommodation experience! I was fortunate enough to choose this hotel as my home away from home during my trip, and from check-in to check-out, the entire process left me more than satisfied.First and foremost, I must commend the hotel staff. They excelled in every aspect of their roles, whether at the front desk or in room service. They were always friendly, welcoming, and highly professional. No matter what request or inquiry I had, they went above and beyond to assist me, making me feel right at home. This level of attentive care made my stay all the more pleasant and stress-free.Next, the hotel's facilities and decor were simply outstanding. The rooms were spacious, bright, and adorned with a perfect blend of simplicity and modern elegance. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided me with a peaceful haven for a restful night's sleep. The bathroom amenities were top-notch, offering a range of high-quality bath products, allowing me to fully unwind and relax. The hotel's public areas were also beautifully designed, exuding a contemporary ambiance. Additionally, the restaurant and gym facilities left me thoroughly satisfied.The hotel's location was also highly convenient, being close to numerous attractions and transportation hubs. It was easy for me to reach the city center and other tourist spots, which greatly enhanced the overall convenience of my trip.Lastly, I must emphasize the hotel's breakfast. Dear Pinetree Hotel Management,

I am writing to formally raise concerns regarding our recent stay at your hotel from 19th to 21st April 2025. While the check-in process was smooth, our experience with Room 1106 was highly disappointing and frustrating.

We arrived around 8 PM on 19th April, only to discover that both key cards provided could not open the room door. After a long journey, this was extremely inconvenient. One of your staff members, who happened to be on the 11th floor, kindly assisted us. We also called the front desk, and the same lady who checked us in came up with more cards—none of which worked until she used what appeared to be a master card.

Once we finally entered the room, we found further issues:

The air conditioner was barely functioning and took an unreasonable amount of time to cool the room. The shower was also faulty.

A maintenance staff member had to be called to repair the shower, fix the door issue, and clean the AC unit. We expected the issues to be resolved—but on the very next day, 20th April, after returning from an event, we faced the exact same problem with the door. Once again, we were locked out and had to wait for assistance.

This repeated inconvenience made it impossible to relax or settle in. After a tiring day, being locked out of the room and dealing with poor air conditioning was simply unacceptable. It is very clear that the room was not properly inspected or maintained before our arrival.

We seriously question the standard of room maintenance at your property. A malfunctioning door and faulty AC are not minor issues—especially in Malaysia’s hot climate. Proper, routine checks must be done to ensure guest comfort and safety.

That said, we would like to commend two aspects of our stay:

Your staff: Every team member—from the front desk to F&B to maintenance—was helpful, professional, and courteous. They were the saving grace of this stay. Breakfast: The variety and quality of the breakfast offerings were excellent. Please extend our compliments to the kitchen and service team.

While we are open to returning in the future, this experience has left us very disappointed. We strongly urge your management to take room maintenance seriously and ensure this kind of situation does not happen to...

From the opening year of this hotel our group has been staying at Pinetree every year for the Chinese New Year Holidays. There is no good reason to go anywhere else, they always provide a high standard of service and maintain the rooms in good condition. The infrastructure of the premises remains intact, the public areas and the restaurant are well maintained and look as good as new, the same goes for the rooms they are still in good condition after nine years. We came here again this year for Chinese New Year and stayed for three nights, it was full house but the resident staff and helpers coped very well during the busy breakfast intake, as the guests filled up the restaurant the food just kept coming and it was quite good quality for this type of hotel. I tested the system by ordering poached eggs and the chef knew just how to cook them, not all hotels actually know what they are? We actually rented six rooms this year, none of the relatives reported any problems with their rooms and we were all very happy with the excellent service.
