Stone Restaurant 欣欣美食阁57 — Restaurant in Johor

Stone Restaurant is located just beside the main road. Opposite of it is KFC and Pizza Hut.

They cook just outside in the open air and seating arrangements are also in the open air. Menu has a good variety of dishes, mainly the typical zhi-cha food stuff.

We ordered the prawn paste chicken, bean sprouts salted fish, chicken feet, mei cai, spicy lala, hot plate tofu,etc.

Taste was mediocre, there are better ones we ever had in and around JB or Batu P. But I must say the dishes here are not oily and not overly salty.

Price was rather reasonable and affordable for the number of dishes we ordered.

Parking was easy as ABS, just along the restaurant at the road. Ambience was the usual Malaysian style surroundings under the shophouse. We had the chance to sit outside with fresher air.

Location is obvious. It is beside the main Street. You will hardly miss it. Parking is a lot during the dinner hour.

The waiter is friendly.

Food choices are a lot, they constantly heating it up so the dishes is always serve hot. You can order something to cook on the spots also. Everything are good except the clams which is a lot of sands. Not sure I'm eating the clams or sand.

Other than that everything is good, price is reasonable. Good place to have...

Went Batu Pahat for work. Finished work at 10.30 pm. Not taken dinner. The hotel staff recommended this place. This is a nice place for supper, a windy place. Open until 2 am. Variety of foods, Teow Chew food and fried food. Ordered Teow Chew braised chicken legs, bean curd, eggs. The food was too salty but luckily ordered a bowl of porridge. For the fried, ordered the fried chicken wings, also too salty. Not happy...
