Awesome food, delightful dessert @ Batu Pahat. We were on the way back to Singapore from Cameron Highlands. Batu Pahat as a township after Malacca was always a place that was in-sight but never visited. A sight detour of about 20 km finds us in a quaint Malaysian town. Located a stone-throw from the town center is this wonderful restaurant! The dishes were amazing, local yet with a special touch of uniqueness from master chef and proprietors Suzanne and Adam. The Mutton Redang was tender and the sauce, spicy with a nice kick. The Kerabu with the Ikan Bilis was a nice blend of flavours and crunch at the right bite. The Nonya Chicken with special spices has to be eaten with the sambal for full effect. Delicious. The highlight for me was the Chendol Durian!!! This was durian at the ultimate! We had Red Prawn and Segamat Merah- superb! The combination was delightful as you enjoy the best of both famous desserts. When you do get to the durians, eventually ..pure delight hits you! A must try after enjoying the other great dishes!! Overall, a wonderful detour to Batu Pahat! Thanks Suzanne and Adam for making our ride home so special and memorable!

Great place though. Suitable with every races and cultures. Ease to be found on street and it's very hard to find parking. I went here 3 times as I managed to recall back. The restaurant is nice, cozy and comfortable. Great restaurant for family gathering and group gathering. The menu is nice. There are many choice of foods that you might like and the beverages are really amazed me. I love strawberry one though. The cendol also very tasty but lack of 'gula melaka' the brown one. But still nice for me and it freshen up my throat :D The price is cheap. Really affordable and reasonable. The services here are also great, friendly and professional. The hygiene is normal but if the owner could improve it would be much more nicer!

If you are looking for a good and halal foods, I would suggest Daddy Village Restaurant. Dishes are yummy, environment is clean, service is fast and staff are friendly too. The staff who served our table did a really good job. We had honey chicken, kerabu buah, steamed otak-otak, steamed egg, brinjal with sambal, kailan and mutton rendang. Food portion was just nice for us (7 adults & 2 kids) and price is reasonable. Everyone was happy with the food and we enjoyed the fellowship. A must try - honey chicken, steamed otak-otak, kerabu buah, mutton rendang. We didn't manage to try other dishes but we will if we ever visit Batu Pahat again.

I love the coffee and fruits juice. Strawberry juice is great. They have Halal Certified by JAKIM. I have tasted most of the vegetables and good. The fish is much better. The rice is pretty heavy. The beef steak is a sirloin steak and the black pepper sauce is very nice. We have to accept the service as the place is always crowded. The service is very polite and very friendly. Cleanliness and delicious food and air conditioning. The fried rice is very good and fast. The kuehteow soup is very hot and delicious. The kuehteow Kung-fu is much better. Open 7 days a week. From morning to late night. The boss will be entertaining the customers from a table to another table. The boss is a good guy and handsome and likes to entertain the customers. He talks with the customers and care about them. They will be back because of the service same as me. The price is a bit but we have to understand that it is the only Halal Certified restaurant in town. And the food is very good and polite service. Fruit salad is delicious. They accept calls from customers. You can book the table. They accept takeaways orders. The curry fish is gorgeous. Curry buns with dipping sauce with curry very hot and delicious. Thank you! I am waiting...
