Maple Inn — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Hai. This is my honest review, please take action so that these things wont happen to other guests again in the future.

7 REASONS I WONT GIVE ANY STAR TO THIS HOTEL

Already called to book for 3-4 person, and the receptionist on the phone said YES. It is available for 1 FAMILY ROOM. There is NO MENTIONING ABOUT MAX PERSON DURING THE PHONE RESERVATION. Hence, I made the reservation.

When arrived for check in, the receptionist asked to wait OUTSIDE, STANDING for 15 mins with HOT weather. We feels more like a BEGGAR than a client. We never experienced this kind of terrible hospitality before with other hotels/resorts. Even school hostel is better than this.

During check in, suddenly said only available for 3 persons max due to SOP. Except for babies, can include for 4 persons per room. HAHA. We are all fuly vaccinated and got booster already. Hence I do not understand the hassle and WHY DID THE RECEPTIONIST TAKE THE RESERVATION THE DAY BEFORE. This has troubled us a lot.

It feels like as if the hotel want to SCAM us. If you want to upsell 2-3 rooms, just SAY it. Dont need to trick clients that COME FROM FAR AND MADE RESERVATION like this.

We want to take another hotel but the receptionist WAS VERY RUDE. He claimed that all other hotel already BUNGKUS, and this is the only hotel available.

Well my kind advise, your staff need to learn how to SAY THINGS POLITELY to client ESPECIALLY TO THE ELDERS. Otherwise, YOUR HOTEL WILL ALSO BUNGKUS once there are other hotels such as KOMUNE, Queensville, AirBnB around that area in the future.

Pretty sure as a business, you would like to sustain and expand your business in the future right?

The receptionist was asking too many unecessary questions eventho we already followed the SOP, filled in the declaration form, showed MYSEJAHTERA ID. We are visitors, clients. Not criminals or beggars.

The room and bathroom are clean but the bathroom was CLOGGED.

Hotel, resorts, are all about hospitality. I understand this is not a 5-star hotels, but at least please achieve the bare minimum standard of hospitality. I am very dissapointed with the hotel service and will never recommend or visit again in the future. Never have I encountered terrible service like this...

There’s also a Police Station (Police Station Sri Permaisuri), there is also a Mosque (Masjid Al-Najihin, got also school (SK and SMK is beside each other).

Paying to sleep at Maple Inn worth the price. The price is quite reasonable. They got 3 choices (Deluxe, Superior and family - if im not mistaken).

The Hotel is quite beautiful, i love how they design their lobby. I think is quite “live” in its own way. They have water dispenser and Iron board outside the room.

This hotel is near to many shop, restaurants and etc. Make me things this like in a Mall 😂.

But, for hotel budget “like” this, i can get more cheaper when in Kampung Baru.

However, i love my trips this time.

I have made a Booking via Online thru Agoda Booked on 30.09.2023. Unfortunately i had choose wrong date and not even 15 Second i call the hotel Maple Inn Dwitasik to inform to their reception The Guy and his Supervisor incharges on that time. When i call i politely asking is any ammendment and tolerate regard my booking or i can pay extra for early check in or else. He With Not even help me Said CANNOT. With Comment with High Voice and Said I AM WORKING ONLY HERE I CANNOT DO ANYTHING IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAINT MY PELASURE WITH ARROGANT VOICE.
