This was hands down one of the WORST dining experiences I’ve ever had at Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus Permaisuri. The guy at the counter wearing a kopiah was extremely rude, unprofessional, and clearly has no idea how to treat customers with basic respect. 😡👎

The service was beyond terrible — it felt like we were a burden just by ordering. The cleanliness? Disgusting. The tables, counters, and even the floor were dirty. 🤢 The food that finally arrived was cold, tasteless, and looked like it had been thrown together without care. Absolutely unacceptable.

For a place that carries a name like this, the standards here are an embarrassment. Everything about this branch screams neglect and poor management. Honestly, if you care about good food, clean surroundings, and decent service, AVOID this place at all costs. 🚫

Never coming back again. This outlet desperately needs serious improvement or it will keep chasing...

Wait time way too long, 30mins+ Slow ordering process, but still acceptable due to many customers.

We didn't receive the chicken part that I requested. Then what's the point of asking the customer what part they want.

The amount of fried cabbage is horrible compared to other outlet or previous order from here. Asked the staff regarding this and they say this is the normal amount. (Usually we would get a lot more than this)

The state of the fried tofu is also horrible. Looks like it has been bitten.

We bought set Combo B. Usually we are able to "tambah" rice. As stated in their menu, Buy combo set, and dine in, entitled to free refill of rice. But this time they told my wife that, "tak boleh tabah nasi, nasi tinggal sikit" then another customer were able to refill rice just within less than 5 mins of my wife asking.

How unfortunate. This used to be a...

My lunch at the Ayam Gepuk Permaisuri outlet was a bit of a mixed experience. This famous franchise spot offers a great concept: crispy fried chicken with fried cabbage and a fiery sambal on a bed of rice. I appreciated the variety of seating, with both high tables and normal dining tables available.

The self-ordering process through the touch screen machine was very efficient, and it was quick to grab my food once my number appeared on the screen.

However, the dining environment needs a lot of improvement. The cutlery felt a little greasy, the plate-returning area was dirty, and the tables weren't as clean as they should be. The toilet was in particularly poor condition. While the food was decent, the overall comfort of the dining experience was lacking. A lot of effort is needed to clean up the space for a more...

Maybe this food is not for me. Everything is fried and they suck up a lot of oil, I just can’t take the oily after taste … very muak to me … The fried chicken feels average by itself, but it’s covered with the non-spicy bean paste. The paste itself is very oily by itself, I felt like they use too much sesame oil inside. One of the vege is fried cabbage, and it also sucked up a lot of oil, if it could be less oily it might taste interesting? Like tempura 😋 Also the orange juice is more like orange-colored water, don’t order this maybe, try other juice 😂 Verdict: not my type, first and last time … Forgot to take photo of the dish, but here’s the photo of the storefront
