OYO 600 Hotel Est Kuala Lumpur — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

As a budget hotel, I would said this hotel is slightly over-priced. Personally, this is my 1st check in here and I know there are plenty of budget hotels around this area and I will definitely not coming back to this hotel again.||||Room is spacious but space are not being used wisely. The bed was making a lot of noise until I can't really sleep well. When I checked in, the receptionist lady informed me there will be a maintenance in the next morning and ask if I can check out earlier. In compensation she offered to provide me a RM10 Old Town voucher for breakfast and asked me to collect the voucher when I check out next morning. So indeed, the maintenance noise started around 8am in the morning. and I checked out around 8.45am. At the counter, a different lady was on duty and when I asked for my voucher, she raised her voice and told me that my Agoda booking was not entitled for the voucher! Oh come on, as if I am gonna starve without the voucher, was just asking as I was...

This hotel goes down as my worst booking ever! I booked several weeks ahead and got confirmation. I showed up late at night to find the doors locked, lights out, and the building completely deserted!

Great! I’m in an unfamiliar foreign city late at night, the taxi driver has left, I’ve got a dead cell phone, and I’ve got oversized luggage, and no hotel to check into!

What’s worse, the hotel has not even had the common decency to return my emails, or offer any explanation whatsoever.

Absolutely a new low in hospitality, and for all I know, they are not even in business anymore and just booking reservation from unsuspecting travelers. In other words, A SCAM!

I’ve filed a complaint with Agoda, and am filing a fraud complaint with my credit card provider.

Save yourself a hassle and DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS...

a great hotel for the price. about 88RM. wifi is horrible above the 1st floor, so get a room on the 1st floor if you want wifi. A/C works great. Don't expect a good view unless you are facing the main street.||||it is really clean and they have free dispensed water. rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh towel and sheets. there is a soap dispenser, but you need to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and anything else you want aside from body soap and a single shower towel.||||location is great for things that you would need, food, transportation by metro rail is about a mile away, depending on which line you want to go.||||I'd stay here again if I wanted a budget hotel. at least I feel clean in...
