Stayed here for 1 night. Location is good, there is a restaurant next door with 7/11 and KK Mart as well. The staff is helpful, explained to us about the parking situation - it's at a shop lot, so only when shops are closed you can get parking if you're lucky. Hotel is very clean, there's a water dispenser and they provide water bottles in the room as well. There is no lift, only stairs.

The room was comfortable and neat. Nice to stay and worth with the price. But the room was not sound proof. Quite noisy when the staff doing their work like tidy the room.

Can't say much about this hotel but I guess it's a typical budget hotel kind. There was free wifi, which was good but the channels available on the tv was most sports, which we were not interested in. Room was small but comfy enough, I guess. The toilet was spacious though, about a third the size of the room. It was a non smoking room & they state that they will charge you RM300 if there were traces of smoking in the room. No wardrobe, no hangers.. just hooks to hang your clothes.||There was no phone in the room also, so I had to go down the staircase to request for iron & ironing board because the guy who was doing housekeeping said that I would have to request from the reception if I wanted it when i asked the housekeeping guy for it.|Ouh... there was no elevator also, so it's not really friendly for wheelchair, old folks or whoever who might have trouble climbing staircase. But there was a door behind the reception, not sure if they have rooms behind that door to cater to the group of people above.||All in all, it was a comfortable enough hotel if you intend to just stay in for the night for...

Pros:

  1. Parking in front of the hotel is free. If full then can park in the basement for RM5/entry.
  2. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
  3. The mattress (twin bed) was nice, I overslept on the first day because it was that good.
  4. Big modern LG brand TV, great for movies night. Cons:
  5. Bathroom wall tile was not clean. Soap scum was everywhere.
  6. One of the twin beds blanket and bedsheet was stained with red stains.
  7. There is no wardrobe and hangers to hang clothes. Just have to get creative and use whatever hooks they have in the room.
  8. No kettle in the room for hot water. There is one water dispenser next to the lobby. If your room is on the first or the second floor then you’d have to walk down and up back the stairs to fetch water. Conclusion: This place is good for a short stay not more than two nights, and if you are able-bodied. I don’t think this place is suitable for families with small children...

We had such a bad experience with the receptionist called Putri on the 10th of May around 3:30pm. She told us about the prices and when we were discussing with each other, she kept saying “if you don’t like it, go to Smile Hotel” she repeated this multiple times. And she was frowning and very unwelcoming. We felt we were being pushed away and not welcomed by her choice of words. We are paying 10% tourism tax and we aren’t even tourists which is fine but at least we should get friendly service. It offended us as non locals because we felt like this was due to some racism issue. Not to mention, a while back, we had an issue where a cleaner entered our room without knocking and frightened us. But we forgot about that and we were being relaxed but this upset us and reminded us of the bad experiences we had here. We will not be returning and not recommend anyone to come here solely because of miss putti’s behaviour towards us. Thank...
