Peninsula Residence All Suite Hotel — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

It was a really disappointing stay. My friends and I stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by a man at the front desk, it was pleasant. ||||When it comes to the room, it was very disappointing because what we were promised is not kept. The room has it's ups and downs, the room was fine but the toilet was terrible. The doors would not work as well as it was thought to be. The shower stall had molds in them. There was also limited privacy when you using.||||During our stay, a couple of us was disturbed by something. In this case, one of the girls saw, (this was quoted from her) "a small child with a long hair in the bathroom." There were others saying that they heard something coming from the balcony. It was not comforting. Is this place haunted???||||Other then that, one of our many complaints was about one of the security guards, he was very rude. He's one of the rudest person I've encountered in my days of travelling. How is he able to work with that kind of attitude? He has no people skills, I understand that he is doing his job as security guard but he gets his emotions the best of him. He treats us as if we're not guests at the place. He scolded a couple of my friends and our teacher for what ever purpose it was. I don't know whether he's a racist or has anything against us. He's an Indian man, age between 40's to 50's with an attitude. From what I've said before this, I could just shrugged it off but this kind of problem coming from an employee, it's something I don't take lightly. I would like this matter to be taken seriously or actions will be taken from our side because this was not the first time it happened with me bu also with others.||||Besides all of that, the place was fine and its decent. 10mins walk from the Semantan MRT||Driving - easy access from Jalan Duta. But if you are coming from TTDI, you need to make a u-turn at Jalan Parlimen and enter Jalan Duta.||Parking - basement parking looks rather spooky. Outdoor parking can be limited at night due to pub visitors.||||Check in and out is fast.||Corridor way is dark sometimes.||The elevator works fine.||Hotel is quiet all the time.||You are surrounded by the residents.||In-room wifi is useless.||Basic in-room amenities.||Separate bathroom, toilet and small tub - for kids.||Room is spacious, can fit 10 adults & 4 kids at 1 time.||With balcony.||Privacy - not good for the room facing the main road and office buildings.||Air conditioning is good.||Sleeping quality is good.||Housekeeping is available in the morning.||There is a pub at the lobby. A small middle east restaurant next door which closes around 12am or 1am. Another restaurant in the other block. All within walking distance.||Swimming pool...

The cockroach infestation is very bad! Be prepared to be attacked by flying cockroaches any time!

The whole place has an eerie vibe. Pretty sure it is haunted. Room sliding door is opened when i clearly remember closing it before i go to bed. Stuffs on the “dressing table” mysteriously ended up on the floor a distance away.

Car park has a lot of abandoned cars. Very spooky and disturbing

The corridor smells of stale food and onions

The whole place is very run down

Toilet and shower area is full of mildew

The bed has bedbugs

The door has no security lock

Security guards are non existence.

Location is super inconvenient. With only one road going to the place. If you are coming back from PJ, you will need to make a long trip up to Jalan Parlimen to turn back to Jalan Duta.

Nearest food place is Jalan Dungub / Jalan Batai / Bangsar - all not walking distance
