yummy beef burger with sourdough bun, all made from fresh💕. the thick beef patty that melts in your mouth. The pickles and generous serving of vege that goes along is perfect, learned from the owner that the beef patty is made in house and when you bite on it, you can taste the natural sweetness and tenderness of the meat. It's definitely not the usual burger. One rainy evening on my way back to Damansara via Sprint Highway, the timing couldn't be any better so I just turned in and filled the tummy. Met Damian, the owner of Black Salt for a brief chat before tucking into the food.
◾Roasted Cured Duck Breast RM55.00 - Perfectly roasted cured duck breast, potato gnocchi, fresh green peas and red wine sauce. Not your average run-of-the-mill duck breast but quality one... Doneness hit the spot but flavour-wise need more seasoning. ◾Pork Bacon Steak RM53.90 - Pan fried pork shoulder house cured bacon served with potato gnocchi, fried duck egg and green baby peas. This steak made instant redemption with its moist and juicy meat, well-marinated too! I thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite. This will be perfect pairing with wine.

My favourite is the prawn galette & XO scallop sauce. Bouncy texture and bursting with seafood flavours. Cognac chicken liver pate & grape jelly donut is another interesting creating that tastes much better than it sounds. The house pork sausage has a good bite, and is made with sheep sausage casing. The pan-fried Chee Cheong Fun with Char Siew is will definitely please any Chinese palette. There's a slight taste of kam heong to it, and if you want an extra kick, put a few drops of the in-house habanero oil on it. Bomboloni with in-house bacon peanut butter and vanilla ice cream is also great. Couldn't taste the bacon, but the texture of the peanuts is great. Country pate is like a meat loaf with pistachios. Milder in taste, but goes great with the house sourdough. Also do try the hardcore ginger beer made with Bentong ginger. A pleasantly refreshing drink, and not too overpowering.
