Galeria Sri Perdana — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

Entrance to this museum is free! This was once the official residence of Tun Dr. Mahathir. It’s one of the better-preserved homes, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past and the many dignitaries who once visited. Seeing the old electronic devices from that era like the television, stationary bicycle and washing machine, brought back a wave of nostalgia.

More can be done if fun facts can be added and bring the audience back to the time and let us experience it.

This house served as the former residence of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohd, the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia for nearly 16 years from 1983 - 1999 before he moved his official residence to Putrajaya. It was converted into a gallery and opened to the public in Dec 2003. Admission to the gallery is FREE but photography is not allowed in the gallery. The official residence of Malaysia's fourth prime minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. It has been a memorial since 2003, and the public is welcome to visit.
