First night stay was ok as room kept tidy. 2nd night, went back at 11.30pm only to find the room was not cleaned. Complained to the reception (night responsible) who told me that we need to inform them by 5pm every day it we NEED house keeping. Wait, what? We need to inform them that we actually NEED housekeeping? Is this a hotel or a hostel??!! ||||Never mind, I told him nobody informed us during check in time, as the lady was busy with many customers in line. She just collected the money and pass the key to us. So how would we, as a first timer know that we need to inform reception? Then he argued that this is not a 5 star hotel, and that I should know what to do. So I told him this is the first time I come across a hotel with such rule in my life. I told him that I stayed in 5 star, 4 star, 3 star, 2 star, hostel. Never came across such requirement except for hostel. Then he said this is a budget hotel and that housekeeping is not included. So I asked him where is the terms and condition that said as such? He couldn't show and kept saying that this is not a 5 star hotel and I never inform their reception. He argued that everyone else know except me. His attitude was such that I was wrong although it was obvious they were in the wrong. And that I should expect too much from a budget hotel. But wait, I did not ask a lot, just for them to provide what we paid for. ||||So I demanded for the housekeeping. But he said he has to check with the day supervisor as he was not involved. I said my kids need to sleep already and ask for his manager's number but he refused, kept saying that the day shift supervisor is coming. It was already 20 minutes passed since I called for housekeeping. Another 10 minutes passes. The day shirt supervisor arrived. Again arguing the same thing - that I never informed them I need housekeeping. I asked her how would I know if no one informed us as there is no notice in our room whatsoever. Again she said the same thing, as a customer I should know the hotel rules! Bit this lady is better in that she believed me when I said no one informed us during check in but still she could not do anything because house keeping only works daytime! Ok, recognising your fault is one thing, but refusing to solve the problem is another altogether. So I demanded for her manager's mobile number since she could not solve the problem. Luckily she was not as stuck up as the night supervisor who just blame it on the customer and asked the customer not to expect anything from them since we only paid peanuts for their room. ||||I called one Sumi, presumably the hotel manager. This one's better in her tone, sounds like talking to a customer now. The other two was just like talking to a stranger, the tones and the sarcastic way they talk is just unacceptable in the hotel industry. No wonder Malaysia lose out big time to the Thais and the Indons. Back to Sumi, although the tone is better but still no solution. Although admited its their fault but refused to solve the problem, just plainly said that their housekeeping work only on daytime! The solution she provides - She could only provide new towels. What? What do I need the towels for? We need to sleep not take a bath. But that's the only thing we could do as there is no housekeeping. Really? Is that why you require your customers to pay first? Then my wife suggest to me to take more towels to cover the untidy bed sheets. Than she told me ok, if there is enough towels as they have limited towels provisioned per day. Now I became furious. You can't lrovide a solution and when I suggest the solution you could not provide?!! This time she took it more seriously and said she will call her boss to discuss. 5 minutes passed and she called back. She told me she got the approval to bring a housekeeper to clean my room immediately. ||||Such kind of service and low class mentality in service in their employees to serve their customers, is the reason I...

Read moreThis will be my first and last time staying here.
I stayed on Level 2, in a room with 2 queen beds, for 3 days and 2 nights during a business trip. Naturally, after long and hectic workdays, the least we hoped for was a clean and peaceful room to rest. Unfortunately, our experience was far from that.
We were placed in a room ( 225 ) right next to another unit that was still under construction. It was noisy, dusty, and felt unfinished. On the first night, I started feeling very itchy, and by the next morning, I had developed redness and rashes on my skin (I’ve attached a photo as proof). It really made me question the cleanliness of the bedding and the overall hygiene of the room.
As if that wasn’t enough, on the second day around 11 AM (thankfully not at night while we were still sleeping), it rained heavily, and to our shock, our bed became completely soaked. Water leaked from the ceiling, and the mattress was drenched. Even worse, the clothes I had laid out on the bed to wear that day got wet as well. Luckily, I had brought spare clothes.
I still can’t understand how such a serious leak could happen on Level 2 of what’s supposed to be a completed and functioning hotel.
Despite all of this, no compensation was offered by the management. We were left to deal with the situation on our own.
This kind of condition is completely unacceptable, especially for paying guests. For the price we paid, I expected at least the basics: cleanliness, comfort, and safety.
Very disappointed and will not...
