Hide Or Out Cafe & Space - H2O — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

don't get me wrong. the place's ambient is perfect for the weather outside. it was scorching hot on the 18th and the temperature in the cafe was just perfect. not too cold, not too warm. we loved that. the only thing that didn't sit right with us was the food. we ordered the nasi lemak with sambal sotong. the sambal sotong was too spicy, and i know how an undercooked sambal tastes like. we weren't able to finish the sambal at all. and then we also ordered nasi lemak with the chicken chop. as usual, the nasi lemak was great. the chicken chop was super salty though. next, we ordered grilled lamb. weird marinade. not recommended. the popia carbonara was the only thing that we loved. we also ordered the gula apong icecream and the loaded fries. they were delicious. and the honeydew milkshake was good too, although it was super sweet.

the things we would recommend others to try are- the honeydew milkshake (if you can drink super sweet thing) the popia carbonara (a balanced taste, i personally loved it!) the loaded fries (kid- friendly, super cheesy) the gula apong ice cream (just yum yum!!)

for the price, i understand why the portions aren't as big as the other cafes, because duhh inflation. not arguable, but the recipes could be improved for better experience for the next customers. like i said, the inside ambience is perfect, the temperature too! a perfect place for your ootd inst*gram posts but for the food, not everyone can agree that they taste good....

Ordered nasi lemak sambal sotong RM15 dapat around 6 pieces je besar ni. Kalau besar tak apa tapi ni sekali telan je. Lebih ikan bilis dengan bawang, sotong tu side je. Hampa. Will never go here again. Rasa pun biasa2 je.

REPLYING TO THE ADMIN: yes, it's AROUND 6 pieces but for sure it's below 10 pieces. Only bawang and ikan bilis yang banyak not like what you advertised in your menu. Call this false accusation but for Rm15 for this small sotong is def not worth it even u gave me papadom. include packaging? Possibly the person who tapau this for me exclude packaging service cus i follow the menu she gave me which is rm15 so you mean it's more than rm15 if take away? WOW. i bought your drink before and def i also had an issue which i asked for regular but your worker gave me big one instead. I didn't argue but you made me want to argue this. DEF not gonna recommend or repeat. And no, I dont need...

It is an actual cafe.First of all,because of the cafe environment is very calm,neat and suitable for you to chill.They got a corner with cushions and a square table in front it,kinda like a chill spot.The facilities in the cafe are very clean.There will absolutely no problem for you to fulfill your duty call here.There is also Surau for muslims to pray.The cafe also have a basket full of toys for family to entertain their childrens before the food are served.Talking about food,the menu will absolutely make you feel hungry and thirsty.The quality of the food and drink their served is based on the price.You won't be disappointed with the friendly waiters here.Last but not least,if you came to Malacca but you didn't come to this place.I'm sure you will regret it.Don't forget to come and eat...
